14 eggs in a day

Few weeks ago i fried all of it and ate in a day. The next day the reactions were so severe that it felt like i was about to pass away. Few days later i looked it up and seen that many people have egg whites intolerances so. Since im intolerant to egg whites is it a good idea for me to separate the egg yolks from the whites? Or the body reaction will be the same with the yolks? I lost 8lbs quickly so please, any advice helps.

It's because you didn't eat enough eggs. C'mon man get some eggs into you you'll feel better.

not if you ate 14 eggs in a day.
if you were really egg white intolerant you would've been shitting and puking right after eating them.

Rather than egg intolerance, you have intolerance of foresight and portion control. Everything in moderation. Don't attempt to sully the reputation of the best nutritional source on the planet.

This post described me to a tee. I have IBS, gastritis, and also lactose intolerant. All the years of eating spicy, greasy food finally caught up to me.

not to blame Bayer, but most modern food intolerances have a perfect correlation with the use of fertilizers and other chemicals in agriculture

get your own chickens, feed them your leftovers, enjoy eggs

What is it like to care for chickens? Do they take much care/upkeep? I don't know if I can safely have them since the area I'm in is loaded with all sorts of coyotes, bears, and foxes. Though, I also think they seem kind of cute. I'm a bit lonely, so maybe some pet chickens would be good company. Fresh eggs and garden herbs on the regular, good Chinese whole tea every day...that could be nice.

I've been paying rediculous prices for pastured eggs for years, think about how i feel now, lets go brandon

Dubs confirm, you must acquire chickens and secure the future of all egg consuming-kind.

          >What is it like to care for chickens?
if you don't mind cleaning their shit, that's pretty much everything you have to do other than feeding them
I have 6 now and have to clean their coop twice per week or so
when I had only 2, I used to clean it every other week
I lost a couple of them to foxes so now I don't let them outside anymore unless I watch them, which doesn't happen very often

Does the coop cleaning take much time to do anyway? Any other costs besides setting up the coop/fencing? I'd think you'd need to fill in some hay or similar.

              >Does the coop cleaning take much time to do anyway?
no, about 5 minutes at most unless you waited for too long and the dung has been compacted on the floor, which makes it harder to remove
my floor is made of stone, so a shovel cleans it right away
the only real problem is that at the end of the day it's shit, and shit stinks...city people don't usually want to smell that
              >Any other costs besides setting up the coop/fencing?
feeder and drinker if you want that, nothing else I can think of right now... I only spend money on grain sacks for the winter months
              >I'd think you'd need to fill in some hay or similar.
you need some straw, but the "box" where they lay the eggs is pretty small (pic rel for example) so very little is needed and changing it once a year is more than enough if you keep it clean (remove shit when taking the eggs since they shit over the eggs sometimes)
I've seen people put sawdust, but I believe straw goes better

I appreciate the notes. I'll have to check my local laws and observe feasible safety (from wildlife), but I think it sounds pleasant to consider. Lord knows I go through enough eggs to pay off the initial costs with ease.

I don't know how expensive eggs are, but economically it's almost never worth it
industrial hens lay 2 eggs per day while yours will lay 5-6 eggs per week
you'll get for more or less the same price as from the store
what you gain is quality and knowing that your eggs don't have any shit in them
if you look at the food they feed those hens, you won't want to eat eggs or meat anymore

                >Could i feed the chickens eggs to get double eggs they lay?
if you always keep them locked up where they don't see the sun and you provide them with artificial light (6 hours of light, 6 hours of darkness) and feed them with hormones so they ovulate faster and don't die in the process, then yes, you can get them to lay 2 eggs per day

                it's quite sad
you could say that the industry works: nobody knows where what they eat comes from and how it was produced, so they can eat anything and be happy in their fantasy world
if people had to care for and kill their own animals, the world wouldn't be full of manchildrens, because they would have to either grow up or starve to death
even "free range" chickens have never seen sunlight

You are obviously descended from "people" that couldn't even raise chickens already domesticated by better people in the last 10,000 years. Just don't eat eggs, it's not for you.

I found potatoes in my pantry today. This means I will eat today. Yay! Although it is already 9:24 pm.

I am hungry! Now some potatoes are boiling in their pot! But some are Agria potatoes, who I suspect will not boil so well. Alas, we work with what we have, and I ran out of my normal potatoes.
