Probably, yeah. Why wouldn't it be?
If you're that concerned about it, send a sample of it to a lab for testing.

      >Why wouldn't it be?
I was trying to find tallow a long time ago and was wary because of how cheap some of it was and that they specified it was "food grade". The "food grade" thing seemed strange, if it's food you don't have to say that. Made me think it was more for cosmetics or candles or something but they started saying it was "food grade" as demand for tallow to eat rose.

Maybe they think that you're buying tallow to cook up meth or crack?

        >The "food grade" thing seemed strange, if it's food you don't have to say that
There are a bunch of different ways to use tallow, and if they're selling it in bulk it might be necessary to make that distinction.

        Anonymous

There's are many grades of tallow produced commercially, and not all of them are edible.Tallow is used for many things in industry, so it's definitely important to make the distinction.

    They sell lard everywhere.

Not OP but you'd be surprised.
I spent a solid month or more after I moved to my current town looking for lard, and the only place that sold it was a single Chinese butcher out of over a dozen other shops and butchers. I have to render it myself, too

    >muh chinese garbage
in the last year i’ve bought primarily through amazon and i avoided all the chinese garbage because i don’t just mindlessly buy front page shit like some npc who deserves to be ripped off. their customer service is impeccable. they made billions off of delivering anything i want to my door the same day? wow what bastards. let me just cancel and wait for literally any other company to offer the same thing

bullshit. they’re so big the eat the loss of any issue. you have a month to return an item. you have instant replacements. you get to keep damaged items while getting free same day replacements. name me one business that makes things right as good as they do

I have never been offered a replacement ever.
          >you get to keep damaged items while getting free same day replacements
No, they require you to return damaged items and "same day" isn't even a thing anymore. Half of the "same day" and 2-day shit that I order now takes 3-4 days.

are you lying or just making shit up? last week i bought $50 pre workout. after using it three times and feeling nothing i opened the app and said it didn’t work. they gave me my money back and told me to keep it. my previous return i got a same day replacement and kept the old one for a month until i dropped it off at ups where they boxed and shipped it for me for free.
your city must be shit. if i order $25 worth of shit i get same day (usually within 4 hours) delivery 99% of the time.

I recently tried to get them to adjust price on an unshipped order to their current price (which had dropped), they refused to match themselves and wouldn’t cancel the order.

Also I’ve received multiple orders of food items packaged terribly, stale, or near expiration. Their commingled inventory system is awful and there are definitely products you can’t purchase because they likely to be counterfeit.

what a liar. I live 10 minutes from a distribution center and same day delivery isn’t available on anything but the most generic, Chinese fricking garbage. their delivery times aren’t even accurate any more and there is no set schedule; it could show up at 8 am it could show up at 5 pm. enjoy your constantly delivery time rollovers. price of membership keeps going up despite the services remaining a glorified “here’s what you could have if you paid extra for this service” window shopping

Kek I thought it was hilarious when that shill said I live in a "shit city" I can literally see the distribution center from my apartment and it still consistently takes them 4 days to deliver a "free 2 day" prime delivery. It wasn't his bad until the last year when they raised prices again while gutting services like prime video at the same time.

It does keep getting worse, they're usually more expensive than other places and I've never got same day delivery because I live in the middle of nowhere but it's the only place that makes it painless to buy the same piece of shit again and again until you get one that is usable, eg computer monitors

    >NOOO DON'T BUY CHEAPER PRODUCTS, SPEND MORE FOR THE SAME STUFF!
You act like the average person can afford to do that. Yeah sure, it's only a few extra bucks, but it's a few extra bucks on EVERYTHING. Every food item, every piece of clothing is more expensive, every tool, every bit of car maintenance. Keep in mind, wages have stagnated or dropped in almost every field for decades, and we're experiencing levels of inflation that are unreal at the moment. The israelites make it so you bring home fricking pennies, meanwhile you, a TRUE HERO of the working class, says we need to spend those pennies on things we can't afford to own the libtards.

Amazon IS bad. But this "vote with your wallet" shit is the opposite of a solution. We're not going to fix the entirety of the rigged economic system by spending twice as much for shirts and broccoli at a store that still largely employs immigrants.

If that was an issue for them they would stop selling on Amazon. They're likely not going to lose anything because Amazon will put that badly made, no QC shit you had to order five times to get a useable example, on Warehouse for $3 below RRP and some moron will buy it.

The things of these reseller types on amazon are fly-by-night operations and like old arab type places like camera and electronics stores in manhattan are really meant for tourists who are easily ripped off. I don't do that but a lot of brownie types do. I suspect that amazon would like to track them down but they change their names so often then it might cost less to just refund the money.

Not only are the search results cluttered with Chinese shit but the service has gone way downhill and the price of Prime has doubled since when I first subscribed. These days I hardly even order anything from Amazon anymore since I can get the same products for cheaper from Aliexpress and get better customer service.

OP I actually have ordered this. It's a good deal for sure, especially if you'd like to fry in tallow which is why I bought it (to make home-made tortilla chips minus the canola shit). The tallow is pretty good, but I've had better. Specifically kidney suet tallow which is solid at room temperature. This bucket stuff is grass fed supposedly, but it's obviously trimmings and is like frosting at room temp and doesn't have as good a scent or flavor as the kidney suet. Still good for basic cooking, skincare, or soap at a bargain. Not sure why all these homosexuals are whining about Amazon when you can get it on that Sulu brand's website.
