Who is on it/has done it? Need some tips. Thanks in advance. I think I can do a lot of cucumber sandwiches, but I'll get sick eventually.

you shouldnt trust those charts 100%
1st of all they put "legumes" in the same category as red meat. which is retarded. there are many different kind of legumes and especially the difference between the fresh and dried kind, and they shouldnt be lumped in together.
same with grains. white rice and brown rice and very different.
my advice is to eat as much of the fresh stuff as possible. many people when eating a vegan diet think they need to load up on a bunch of beans and stuff. not necessary imo. eat greens, fruits (tomatoes, squash, etc), roots.
as for grains, imo refined grains is better than whole grains. so eat white rice and white bread.
i eat a lot of seaweed for the iodine.
just eat whatever taste good. that's very important. dont force feed yourself stuff that you dont want to eat.

Thank you. I'm pretty sure I can still eat fish, but not tomatoes.

If youre going to eat animal products, imo dairy is best. Then its power gap followed by seafood.
Many people make it seem like youre going to drop dead after a while eating vegan. Not so imo. I am quite flexible with how i eat. I am like 90% vegan but i am still willing to eat anything if i feel like it. I think this is much better than being dogmatic.

I'll have to experiment with that. I typically eat a decent amount of dairy and what I've been doing is what's gotta change.

    >Alkaline Diet
youre fucking retarded. kys. your "diet" isnt going to do shit to your bodys ph level. do you know what your ph level is? is between 7.35 and 7.45 and if you fall outside of that you start to die. im surprised you can read

Yet every website recommends Alkaline Foods for GERD, you dumb npc.

They don't recommend them because of that. That's like saying cars are heavy, therefore that's why cars drive on roads. It isnt the reason. The alkaline diet exists, there is no connection to the foods recommended for GERD, they just coincide.

It doesn't. The whole thing is a made-up bullshit to sell books that just make common sense recommendations like eating more fruit and vegetables and less grains.

Acidity is very real. I have been diagnosed. I drink a lot of carbonated crap, so cutting that should largely fix it. But I also feel noticeably better after cucumers and carrots

Your body is perfectly capable of regulating its own pH value, and in cases where it's not you need to address the source of the problem and eating foods that are "alkaline" isn't going to fix it.

Well, you're wrong according to my doctor and the internet. Eating acidic foods with no balance will continue to relax the asophagus.

OP, i suffer from fucked acidity too, though my doctor never diagnosed me with GERD i pretty much have all the same symptoms.
one thing i did that helped was doing an every other week routine of drinkign agave juice upon waking and before bed.
ive been told that drinking apple cider vinegar will help too so i plan on trying that out.
in my case anyway my acidity is just really bad when i work out, which sucks for losing weight. also just intense heartburn after eating of course.

No heartburn for me, but the other symptoms are there. I will look into agave, thanks.
