      >I also prefer my spam "raw".
      This
and this anon makes a fair point

I was thinking that when it cost more per pound than the pork chops at the store

Spam and pickle sandwiches are my 'go to'.
      (English sweet pickle of course)

Branston pickle is objectively amazing but I've never had spam so I don't know what that's like

For a while I ate corned beef and pickle sandwiches (the British kind of corned beef which is like some cold cut of minced processed beef). Peng.

Maybe try out these Grillos pickles

British pickle (like Branston pickle) is different to what Americans call "pickles" (which we call "gherkins" in Britain)

Branston pickle looks like pic related, it's a condiment made with chunks of chopped vegetables, vinegar, tomato puree, etc.

    Pro-Spam
I remember morons making all kinds of wild claims about what it's made of.
    It's just spice ham.
Something you could get from a deli but it's canned.
Spam and eggs is a favorite of mine.

Anti-spam, too expensive now especially given that pork prices are still reasonable.

Why are you so upset about Spiceham England?

I mostly do thin cut spam and overcook it in a skillet until it's similar to bacon. Or thicker cut same way but has some of the middle give.
It's not bad straight from the can, but I prefer that between bread.

I mean it tastes fine but it's just a bunch of fat so why wouldn't it.

But I would never eat it because I don't need help eating mid fatty food..

I love Spam but god damn is it salty. Kind of hard to just eat a piece of it fried by itself. It needs some bread and a couple of fried eggs.

What's wrong with the smell and texture after being cooked? It smells like bacon and the texture is basically like any other processed meat. You do know you're supposed to cook it, right?

The cans are like 4-5 bucks which removes the entire point of swallowing this processed meat. Might as well get ground beef and skip the sodium.

Those be poor peepoo foods too tho. And nah, it just tasted metallic for some reason. I chalked it up to me being sick at the time but I tried it a month later and the same thing happened. I'd still buy it for my kids however.
