bro literally everything is killing us. Our bodies are pretty amazing to keep all this bullshit at bay for 70+ years. I'm going to keep using my chinese offbrand enameled dutch oven until it breaks. Just enjoy the ride

The problem is these things can lower your quality of life, even if they don't outright kill you right away. Feeling like shit because you're being poisoned is going to make it harder to enjoy the ride.

Usually the more exotic the color, the worse it is for you.

White/black are usually the least harmful colors.

. . . the color on the inside is the same for every model they make. At least make your lies believable next time.

Cadmium is literally the main additive used to color red/yellow enamel and colors that use red/yellow in them.

          Anonymous

And that's literally on the literal outside of the literal cooking pot. The literal inside is literally white, which literally contains no literal cadmium. Since literally most people literally cook on the literal inside of the pot, literally no literal cadmium can literally be transferred to the literal food.

          Literally.

          Dipshit.

            Anonymous

And that refutes the claim that the color on the inside is the same for every model they make how, exactly?

because it's produced in an environment that uses cadmium and thus it's in the air when the inner lining is getting applied, and guess what that cadmium is on the cooking surface.

Pretend all you want it's fine though i guess.

              Anonymous

How do you know the inner coating isn't applied first, allowed to dry and the outer coating applied after?
Buy a le Creuset, chip off the inner coating, test it for cadmium and post the results here. And repeat this process two more times with two other pieces of le Creuset cookware.

That's white coloring. And those pots are old.
So I'd say in modern day pots you'd have titania.
Other thing, that lead or whatever is fused with the glazing, kinda like lead crystal glassware, and those don't leach anything. Unless you're moronic enough to eat it.

Are you guys chipping the enamel of your pots, grinding it up, and snorting it? This is like "lead crystal" glass all over again. The evil cadmium is trapped in the enamel, it can't get out. You're safe to cook on it.
