Most Mexicans drink fruit sodas and eat pastries that are basically hamburger buns with bland frosting on them.. I think they just eat too much junk food
Ii just remembered I have 15 bean mix soaking in water right now for tomorrow. Just going to use smoked hocks and onions, though. Probably make some for bread, too.

im so excited for you, goddamn. 15 beans?!?! what variety.
I copy Campbell's bean and bacon soup at home because I like beans and bacon.
based. try adding diced apple and/or dried berries for a neat twist. also chipotle + adobo
>What's your favorite bean sloppa?
Natto
did you know it is very healthy for you https://www.thehealthy.com/nutrition/nattokinase-benefits/
More kinds than I can even recognize. Mine all came out brown because I made a stock with smoked hocks and ham steak, but you can make some visually pleasing colorful dishes with this stuff
The included seasoning packet is trash though, throw that away
beanlet here, what's the easiest way to utilize a can of beans after I cook some meat? can I just strain that shit and dump it in the pan with all the tasty meat fond or should it be cooked separately from all the meat
yeah just dump it in with the fond, spice it up, add some more liquid (broth beer tomato whatever) and let it reduce down. serve over rice with the meat, optional to wrap in tortilla or add extra veg
I have an injury and can't get around well so it's hard for me to cook at the moment. My mom came to visit me and made a big batch of beef and black bean soup with corn bread and did my dishes
I tried a diet where I just lived on various beans with some seasonings, water, and vitamins because they were cheap, tasty, and gave lots of energy and protein for working out. After like two weeks I was shitting violently almost nonstop, got to the point I had blood coming out with it. I went to the doctor and didnt mention I lived on beans because I knew I'd sound like a moron if I said that. Ran some tests and turns out I have crohns disease.
Ah you caught me. I must have been imagining those bleeding ulcers in my intestines and 10 years of excruciating pain that went away almost like magic after starting treatment.
i'm actually just about to whip some up now. gonna let em soak for a few hours then get to cookin
my method:
-sautee onions, garlic, dried + fresh chilis with copious copious amounts of spices
-add meat (this time i'm using chorizo bc i got a bunch for free) until vaguely done
-add liquid (tomato, broth, beer, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, sweet pickle juice, liquid smoke, water)
-bring to boil, reduce to simmer
-let cook for hours and hours on low
-serve over rice, eat with tortilla (cheese + egg optional)
wa la. you just made 10+ servings of delicious and nutritious food for like $5
I was having bloody constipation for six weeks. Before going to the doctor, I wanted to try one last hope and that was including beans into my diet for the fiber. Within a week, I was completely cured, and all the pain and blood completely went away.
>I don't understand what would possess a man to make an anti-bean thread.
Did you read the linked posts? Supposedly it's some kind of obsessed shill that dedicates inhuman levels of time and effort to spreading their hate of plant based foods because they're a full meat only diet, and wipe their butt with turkey slices and pay for everything with meat coins and brush their teeth with meat paste. They also call everyone a vegan for just eating some fruit sometimes even if they eat meat, like anything that isn't a 100% meat diet is instantly vegan to them lmao
>Wtf where did you get that from??I'm not on any sort of a diet and eat veggies all the time, just hate beans and wish I didn't honestly
Who are you exactly? OP of this thread, the other thread, or someone random posting in both threads? I'm kinda lost anon.

There's an anti-bean and anti-carb maniac on the loose. What bean recipes or ways of cooking them have you tried? Can you stand them in in something like chili?
>People who get triggered by vegan diets and go on rants about how they eat meat are far more obnoxious than the average vegan.
Yea that's true too.
>There's an anti-bean and anti-carb maniac on the loose.
They hate fruit and veg too, pretty much anything that isn't meat.
I made the anti bean thread while drunk but I don't want to convince anyone who likes beans, seems like you're looking into this too much dude

from the bean hate thread here: how do you like beans, green beans are one of my favourite vegetables but any other kind I just have such aversion to, i geniuely used to have nightmares about beans,, everyone stocking up on canned food always has them and I don't know what to replace them with because I'd geniuely rather starve than eat them, they're like devils seeds I don't believe anyone geniuely likes them
>Baked, kidney, black and green! Beans, beans, they make me want to scream!
I read this in an indian accent and it warmed my heart and filled me with comfort.
I just finished up my rajma masala (kidney bean curry) and started soaking some black beans. I'm debating between black bean soup and black bean enchiladas. Which would you lads make?

Ever wonder why every Mexican is fat?
Beans are super healthy, you're just an extreme goof
you exhaust me
Mexicans are fat because they are Murica's neighbor
It's because they drink truly shocking amounts of Coca Cola

My go-to lunch is a can of beans, taco seasoning, corn, salsa, cheese, fried egg, and whatever else I have around.

based. sounds like you are thriving, king. personally i make a pot every year on New Year's for good luck
That's much better than getting addicted to McChicken and Taco Bell like half this board seems to be.
My kind of thread bean-bros. For me it just has to be seasoned black beans over white rice with fried sweet plantains
Black beans are so neutral and good with anything. I like em with yellow rice
I like either refried beans or picrel. I know its not *technically* beans but I just can't help myself
It *is* technically and botanically beans

In moderation. I incorporate it into my summer salad recipe, and the typical sloppas and mexican food.
You're thinking of chronic lyme disease my man

just mix in some meat like me
its easy anon
I'm not living the bean life, I'm living the legume life. Aside from beans, chickpeas, lentils, mung, fava, peanuts, alfalfa...
I put beans in everything I make. I also eat them straight outta the can.
I like great northern and kidney beans the best.
I am living the bean life.

Beans a la boeuf
Crumble a beef stock cube into your baked beans as you heat them on the hob. Makes beans on toast slightly more interesting.
I've never baked a can of baked beans, the instructions say to use a microwave or a stove. Am I doing it wrong?
I prefer chicken stock in my beans. but if i was putting beef into the beans then beef stock would probably be better
beans need ham
My homie, the secret weapon, criminally unknown product
bean bros, we won
>What's your favorite bean sloppa?
chili hand down
Made a skillet of black beans and corn sloppa for tacos tonight. Gonna have some with eggs for breakfast tomorrow.
God bless you, fellow beanbros
Beans are starvation food. Food you eat to not starve and is easy to grow a lot of that has little nutritional value.
I just finished up my rajma masala (kidney bean curry) and started soaking some black beans. I'm debating between black bean soup and black bean enchiladas. Which would you lads make?
