Another fool thinking decade long poisonings means we'll just straight up die suddenly rather than suffering through diminishing health and many visits (or rushes) to the hospital before croaking in deep pain after a long period of time. You always hear the same shit from heavy smokers.
Deceptively few get to die in their sleep out of the blue before the age of 70.

Hunter Thompson already figured that one out. No one to blame but yourself if you keep living past childhood.

looking forward to the groundbreaking studies that prove the link between microplastics and autism/infertility/illness in general. if only we could have possibly known that storing our food and water in artificial materials derived from fossil fuels could have POSSIBLY done this.

Never going to happen. It'll be a blacklisted topic like vaxx and electromagnetic radiation exposure

All of the food we buy is stored/packed in plastic. There's no escape really.

In the future, humans that have evolved through genetic mutation to remain healthy after eating one or two credit cards a week will be perceived as sexually attractive

Same, except I use a pur filter. It still gets clogged after 4 months, so I'm guessing there's stuff it's catching that might not be good for me.
It's not as good as reverse osmosis, obviously, but better than nothing at all.

your water 99.99% has been through plastic pipes before it arrived at your tap

        Anonymous

Hard industry grade plastic pipes instead of not meant-for-multiple-uses cheapest possible soft plastic stored for long periods of time and shipped (thus jostled a lot) long distances before sitting in warm and cold temps at a store before you squeeze and manipulate it about for maximum plastic shedding.

any/all plastics should never have been allowed in direct contact with foodstuffs

I can't find anything about plastic shedding from proper first world infrastructure plastic pipelines so for now it seems ok I guess. I recognize it might not be the case but demanding else is hard without evidence.

You're a fricking moron who clearly doesn't understand how scientific journals work. The shit is published in PNAS which is a great journal. Beyond this, they're all working in the US.

Pay to play, like all "scientific journal". The safe and effective mandatory gene therapy proved that science is fake. Webm related, "science concentration camp".
