      It's usually a denser bread. Pretzel bread shines as a dipper tool though, because any other bread would fold or crumble. Pretzel bread is strong enough to push through.

      The downside it pretzel bread seems to go bad way faster, like its a mold attractant or some shit. Or maybe that's just because store pretzel bread is shitty, IDK.

      I made a sandwich yesterday. Tuna and aged Appenzeller cheese. I then threw it into the panini press until the cheese was nicely melted.
      It was delicious.

      It's mainly a central Europe thing, but of course you could make some yourself.

    Pretzel is the shape. The correct term is lye bun/roll (Laugenbrötchen).
