>fries are soggy, not crisp, and likely not double fried which is the ideal method to make french fries

five guys is garbage
I've tried giving them a chance three times and they've all disappointed me.

No one fricking cares about your review of a fast food joint. Try creating your own food for once in your life

Yeah, I never got next to Five Guys either. I used to work in an office building in DC and there was a Five Guys in the basement food court. Tried it several times, never loved it. I'm an In-n-Out man through and through.

Me too, tried Five Guys once with my father and we both were disappointed.

I can deal with a patty falling apart but that's only if it's from a good, small-town joint that specializes in smashing burgers

Ok, so stop buying it and don't b***h about it on Culinaly of all places.

      The burger is seriously flavourless
I don't even know how they managed to make a burger so flavourless

agree on the burger, they are absolutely trash. disagree on the fries though. i really like their fries and they give you a frick load of them. the shakes are also nice but they are really overpriced.

this. its really surprising. mcdonalds make better burgers.

      >toppinglets

I have no idea why that shit is so expensive. where do they even find the balls to charge so much for a burger and why do people actually eat there?

It made sense when the burgers were double the size. It still sort of almost makes sense when you consider that a big mac by itself is now $8 or some shit.

The only way you can make their fries manageable is to eat them on the spot. Any longer and the bag just steams them and turns them into soggy mush. The last time I went was almost a year ago, and I had them overcook the burger and ate in the building. It was alright. There's so many better options though out in the midwest.

They don’t put salt on the burgers. Management says the buns provide enough seasoning. The fries are definitely double cooked, but they’re usually not crispy enough. Ask for them well done

I haven't eaten there in 15 years but it used to be good because everything was extremely greasy and salty, which means it tasted great.

I'm the OP of the other thread. Why did you feel the need to make this one? Instead of bashing a restaurant you don't like why didn't you just create a thread about good burger places or make your own?
