A random example, I bought three apples yesterday without looking at the price and they were more than two dollars per apple. Granted I do not pay attention to prices of random bulk fruit so I don't know how abnormal that is, but it seemed strangely high to me. I do well enough so I'm not in trouble, but I wonder how my friends who work more lower income jobs even survive between food prices and the insane cost of housing.

So apples are like $5/lb, that's nuts

i saw a three pack of boneless, skinless chicken breasts at walmart for $18.

two years ago you could get two packs of 4 for $20

Smelly Indian poop hands have touched everything. There has been a migration of over 600M pajeets into Canadian lands in the past two years. Combine that with the Chinese owning every single household that was built between 1993 and 2023 and you have Canadians up a tall tree.
Grim reality, good thing their prime minister keeps doing blackface and selling more of his nation to people who actively want to kill/rape Canadians.

can canadians even own guns? from what i hear only criminals can, seems like a lawless hellpit

I'm a noguns, Canadians can own guns but our rights suck ass anyway. IIRC they banned civilian ownership of pistols last year or something.

        >IIRC they banned civilian ownership of pistols last year or something.
It's probably for the best. Try to imagine what your government would be like if your politicians had to worry about actually being held accountable for their actions.
And now, Canadian politicians are in a perfect position to put certain groups of unarmed Canadians on trains and send them to death camps. Would anyone even notice if all of the english speaking Canadians disappeared overnight?

I think they can only own hunting rifles. may or may not have to be bolt action.

Lead here, we have two classes of firearms ownership. Here in Ontario with a standard firearms license you can own semi autos with 5 round capacith (that the government say are none scary enough), bolt action rifles, numerous shotgun types, revolving rifles, and lever action rifles.

next up is restricted, these are range only firearms and pistols. This puts a big red X on your back for the feds, and you're going to be the first they pester if somethings stirring up the livestock and local Karen populace.

Are you allowed to own revolvers with a six round capacity in Canadia, and do they have to be single action revolvers?
I imagine a six round 9mm DA revolver with a hidden hammer would be like giving a law abiding Canadian citizen a Glock 43. I mean, they might use it to fly an airplane into the World Trade Center or something.

Listen, if you get a handgun license in Canada, you will only ever be allowed to use it at the shooting range. If you're caught with it in your car and you're camping or at the grocery store, you can be jailed for like 10 years. there's no point in getting a license for that kind of bullshit. If you have the handgun license police can come and check your gun at any time to make sure it's locked up, empty of ammo, with a trigger lock on it. this is to ensure that you'll never be able to get to it in the case of an emergency. If you just want to shoot at the range and you want to give the feds even more power over you and your private property then you can get a 6 shot revolver, yes.

Yeah, but most of it is just a tundra of a wasteland. What's the point of having all that land if you can't even use it?

The food is just the tip of the iceberg Anon, this country is dying, I fricking hate Canada, it's gone to shit, born and bread and I don't feel an ounce of pride anymore. Thought about moving to the states but it's not like it's much better, just tit for tat with issues.

Try to find a city in the USA that is less than 70% African-American, and you should be okay. Some major cities are less than 8% Black person.
No, I'm not going to tell you which city I live in, because I don't know if you are a human or not.

They're all hard for the "century initiative," which is the goal to have a 100 million population for the country by 2100. By any means necessary. Without any attempt to support any infrastructure or incentivize building houses at a rate that even closely matches this, of course. Like that other anon, I seriously am tired of it and don't feel pride either. Only reason I don't leave is because the people I love are here.

          Anonymous

i think that initiative is a nice excuse, but theyre really doing it because its easier and cheaper to just keep bringing in "temporary" foreign workers who are used to living in a shithole then investing in better wages, more usable houses, better healthcare, etc etc

Premium soup has been on sale twice for $2. I was really confused because it's never on sale but it's to hide their new smaller cans that from what I can tell are also more watery.

I hate how Ontarians and Quebecois have both already mentally seceded off anything west of Manitoba as not being part of Canada

90% of you posters here would even dare to say that anything below the Yukon territory counts as America
