i thought Indians (Hindu) were vegetarians?
Hindus eat meat, plus there's a bunch of Christians and Muslims in India. Jains don't eat meat, bugs or root vegetables (because bugs).
There's some kind of a vegetarian belt in Northern India if i'm not mistaken, Southern pajeets actually eat a decent amount of meat and fishes
Adherence to religious dietary restrictions is seen as admirable but not required all the time. Most Indians eat meat from time to time, except for some religious ascetics.
>why are nonveg dishes popular in the west
really?
Yes most Indians are non veg(at least had meat once in there life) but very few >5% eat meat daily. So the above statement is not really the true reflection.
The staple diet is vegetarian for most indias regardless of religion.
Lamb bhuna, madras hot
Butter chicken.
Garlic chilli chicken or kerahi if I'm feeling fancy.
Do street shitters really?
Good morning, Sir!
frick me, it's even worse than cnn
Soul.
>cheesy cringe animations

Pork vindaloo, aloo gobi, chana masala are the goat.
i can't tell the difference, i don't eat it enough and the words are funny. i like the butter chicken and i know i've had good lamb curry
it's really calorie-dense isn't it?
i'd like to be able to make naan, i should try it
>i'd like to be able to make naan, i should try it
so i tried it
it tasted like a pancake when i pan-fried it. i think i overcooked it when i tried in the oven. in both cases i think the biggest problem was i didn't stretch out the bread enough. but i liked the flavor overall. i'd like to get better at it, i think it'd be a great bread in the morning to go with meat/cheese
yeah bro, i love it
curry cream pies
yellow coconut curry, chicken, cashews, onions, peppers, a lot of sambal
it was just called "special curry" at the place i'd go to, but i make it at home now.
GOAT curry of course
God I love goat curry.
Half of that shit isn't even edible
Meat is tastiest closest to the bone, also bone marrow. Go back to your fast food thread anon

Tied favourites are vindaloo and korma, I'm aware they're on complete opposite sides of the heat spectrum but I fricking love them both.
I could eat curry twice a day every day and never get bored of it.
I like butterchiken with a side of rice and cheese naan
Goat vindaloo
>vindaloo
vindawho? vindawhat?
vindapoo in the vindaloo
Checked. I like a Tarka. It's like a normal curry only 'otter.
paneer curries are so fricking good
Going to make some Singapore Noodles tonight. It's really the only curry taste I can tolerate. Most South Asian curries are disgusting subhuman slops full of rancid meat covered in sauce that's overspiced to hide the low quality of the food you're eating. Something like Singapore Noodles is the ideal use of curry flavoring, it should be dominant but it shouldn't be some kind of ridiculous gutter slop that looks like it came out of Ranjeet's fetid butthole.
It doesn't have to be rancid meat if you make it yourself. I personally make a great butter chicken and Korma, mostly because I don't trust indian chefs. I mean any culture that's notorious for shitting everywhere, cleaning said shit with your hand and then using hands to cook everything isn't something I particularly want to eat from. However, some of the curries are good so I make them myself.
Literal slop
>slop
>not sloppa

Yes.
In all seriousness, do you only eat food of a solid consistancy?
My favorite is the kind with r replaced with n
I love Indian food as much as anyone, but I feel like it’s most ardent supporters are in denial that most of their curries don’t vary all that much in taste. Sure you have some extremes like the very sour and spicy vindaloo or the spinach heavy saag/kofta but every kofta, masala, makhani, korma, or Cashmere are basically interchangeable because they’re essentially the same set of 20 spices in different ratios. Even stuff like biryani are so heavily spiced with the same set of spices that nothing stands out and everything ends up blending together on your palate.
>Even stuff like biryani are so heavily spiced
you gotta cook yourself some indian food bro
Beef korma
Lamb rogan josh
Saffron rice (sultanas gtfo)
Cheese n garlic naan
Simple as'
I think I don't like curry D:
I don't like peanut butter in a stew and I don't like coconut cream and I especially not like coconut cream and mushrooms combined
