anime seems to be a virus infecting everything now, pay no mind and buy a good brand instead

it's because weebs buy anything with anime branding, as they're braindead. i dont blame corporations for capitalizing on it. in COD i think the best selling skins are weeb skins, just look at /vg/'s cod general. full of stupid mouthbreathing weebs

Popular anime characters being licensed for food products in Japan is just commonplace - chain restaurants and such often have promos with characters, whether it be a "classic" like Doraemon or LOGH or something currently popular on its second season.

        >i dont blame corporations for capitalizing on it.
Wait wait wait, you don't blame the corporation for capitalizing on something that was clearly capitalized by some party for the product endorsement to exist?
What other entity would you blame for the capitalization of weeb shit?
If you take weebs as braindead consumers, who is the person with the brains to fuel and promote this braindead consumption by engaging in licensing deals such as the OP?

inb4 you just give me a demonym as the answer and then accuse me of being biased toward that demonym if I question the applicability of that answer.

ESL. Go study the meaning of "I don't blame" a little more.

            Anonymous

You don't mean "I don't blame" in the same sense as "I can't fault" or otherwise give a negative denouncement?
Like the idea being that there is no real fault for corporations to capitalize weebshit, and so while it exists and you don't approve of the weebshit directly, you don't disapprove of the people providing it to weebs at the expense of their wallets.

If you find weebshit distasteful enough to loathe it as you do, I don't see why you'd have anything but a negative view for the people enabling weebshit.
It's like hating stoners but giving no mind to the growers and dealers for capitalizing on it.

Soybean oil would be my last choice in deenz but I would buy that just for the cool packaging.

Unironically, does soybean oil have any advantages over OO as a packing for fish?

Cheaper. You'll almost never find $1.50 deenz with olive oil

I probably had the best (healthiest) shits of my all my life when I was eating a small can of sardines almost daily during fall last year.
I'd love to get anchovies but they are exuberantly rare and expensive in my country.

      Anonymous

Anchovies are good but they're also extremely fricking salty so I wouldn't recommend eating them as the main part of your snacks like deenz (a single can is usually over 100% of the recommended daily sodium intake). They're the kind of stuff you add to other food like as a pizza topping for example.
So yeah, very good and would recommend but don't eat a can per day

They censored Chris Redfield smoking a cigarette in the intro of Resident Evil in 1996, a violent M rated game where you can blow zombie limbs off with a grenade launcher.
They recently started to allow cigarettes again but only in M rated games AND in Devil May Cry 5 they had to put an in-game warning saying smoking is bad (I'm not making shit up)

Some American states allow marijuana dispensaries to put advertising billboards on the highway, something illegal for tobacco and alcohol (I'm not making shit up). Hi Clown World, I'm Dad.

You can advertise wine all you want here even with the super restrictive ad laws

When will the gay ass pissy moms leave tobacco alone and focus on vapes n booze n their fricking full pharmacy of a pill cabinet that little Jimmy is balls deep into? I miss clove ciggies. Mexico has fun camel crush types that are fruity. I want these things.

Just have a nice day now if you're this terrified about plastics in every aspect of your life. You're never going to escape and you're never going to feel safe. The stress you subject yourself to daily is literally causing more harm than anything else.
