This. Easily one of the most universal vegetable out there. You can use it with almost anything and cook it many different ways.

It's not about being a picky eater. I find cooking improves both the taste and the texture.

Most vegetable are really nice slightly cooked, even broccoli when steamed to tender, but still with it's distinctive crunch, is excelent on it's own. Fully raw, it's quite meh, and beaten hard by a quality carrot.

I also just enjoy good fresh veggies, especially a salad with in the summer with just a lil olive oil, lemon juice, and vinegar, but frick if I don't love a crudité platter and some sort of tangy creamy dip

I had a little bit of problems with mine. I got two big bags of fresh broccoli from Sam's. Froze one and later tried to defrost it. Turned into a soggy mess. So I learned you got to cook it frozen as you need it.

I was referring to the people who dislike the taste. I can only imagine that if you don't know how to prepare it.

oh. well then probably. its an extremely inoffensive vegetable. I figure people don't like it have only tried it plain or had soggy shitty broccoli

I've had them every way you could ever cook them and not once have I ever said:
"Oh my god... I have to have more of that".

Most people boil or steam them. The only way to make them taste good is to use a dry cooking method like roasting to get some nice browning.

The fresh varieties always lead to uncomfortable bloating for me, no matter what way I cooked them (never tried boiling them though).

Never had this problem cooking with frozen broccoli, so I get to have my cake and eat it too.

It pairs well with cauliflower too. How can anyone not love these vegetables.

Boil in chicken stock. Also keep Beano on hand (should do that anyway).

Most people just throw velveeta on broccolis and cauliflower so can't really taste the difference.

They're meant for farm animals not human co sumption. Your body can't digest them so they make you shit bricks and leak out toxic gas.
