Do you like microplastic with your food? If not then you should probably get rid of these from your kitchen.

Horribly inefficient, Literally just take a salt shaker and dump it directly into your mouth. Nothing gets wasted on the cutting board. How have people not caught onto the superior way to flavor their food?

some species are vulnerable for a blue/ black mold in the sap. Once the wood dries its dead but the stain stays forever
not pretty, not harmful, wont damage the wood

Anons should be contaminantmaxxing. Unfortunately, the consequences of industrialization and rapidly booming world population starting in the latter half of the 20th century means there are contaminants everywhere. The produce is grown in heavy metal laden soil. There are too many contaminants in the air to name. There are an infinite number of contaminants in your drinking water. Estrogenic hormones are in the meat and dairy, and xenoestrogens everywhere. Your local health authority has claimed these are at "safe" concentrations, but they are simply coping because they have no way to undo the consequences of rapid unfettered industrialization.

You'd think the best mitigation is to simply grow 100% of your own food in completely isolated systems that do not interact with the outside environment. Even if you somehow managed this, you'd still be exposed to contaminants. The better way to adapt is to contaminantmaxx. Go out of your way to consume environmental contaminants, take deep breaths when walking near roads, drink a handful of water from a roadside ditch, buy the most mass produced food you can find. This will build up naturally high baseline concentrations for all the most common contaminants. While everyone else tries avoiding them and drops off with their first major inevitable exposure, you'll have already trained your body to operate under heavy contaminant load. You could be dropped into the middle of the most polluted Chinese industrial town and roam freely among the locals coping with masks and tiger penis pills. The future belongs to the contaminantmaxxed

There's a conspiracy theory that evil forces in this world are intentionally feminizing humanity with those contaminants so that the general public has a lack of strong men to stand up against them. And some people even think the gay community are complicit in this because people are noticing the correlation between gay population increasing to historic highs and the mass exposure of estrogen on the public.

I'm not saying I necessarily believe any of that. But if any of that were true, hypothetically we should be testosteronemaxxing to counteract the female hormones we are all being exposed to, not intentionally increasing our exposure to it.

the cutting boards are extra bad because little chunks of plastic come off the board into your food. if nothing else you should at least switch to a wooden cutting board

No. I’ve been fed shit chopped up on plastic cutting boards and cooked in Teflon pans for decades. No point in changing now.
