Does?

Does Culinaly have any good recommendations for electric lunch boxes? My girlfriend needs something to heat her food when she's out and about and all the cheap ones on Amazon are shitty Chinese crap. I was looking at the CrockpotGo.

Depending on the size of the lunch, he has a built in 98.6 degree oven. I hope this helps.

Then perhaps a little more oven space. Or alternatively a double oven. Again, I hope this helps.

Have we really devolved so much as a species that we can't handle a little room temp food? When I was in the Army I sucked cold MREs straight out of their pouches in the dead of winter.

Yeah, that doesn’t sound room temp then now does it? Sounds like you were eating them COLD, not room temperature (72 degrees F)

Yes, and if I can eat them cold then your girlfriend (male) can handle her chicken nuggies at room temp. God forbid she gets attacked by the Taliban some day...

Cold is highly preferable to room temperature

Because you had to. Civilized people in the first world enjoy a hot meal.

I also ate them at room temperature.

Why not get a thermos or equivalent double wall container? They have plenty that are square shaped for food purposes, on top of the round ones for soup.

Admittedly, I was disappointed by the double wall one. I put hot food in after giving it a hot water bath, got barely lukewarm food at lunch.

    This looks interesting:

The battery based ones look to be too small.

Do avoid anything piezoelectric systems, those suckers need fans on both sides to work, and they aren't all that great for either heating or cooling. I found that you can make them work better with water as a temp transfer medium, but it's more pain than it's worth. Most commercial designs are going to be shit with this tech though.
