If you're so drugged out in the first place then you wouldn't need to take drugs to counter the other drugs that you're on.
How many times did you get vaxxed and you believe that everything that some ramdom idiot like a government tells you is true?

smaller doses are more useful than larger doses
when i end up using melatonin i go for either a 2 or 4mg dose, helps things along more gently and its less likely to leave you groggy in the morning

      >Yes and it helps you have cool dreams.
What else helps me have cool dreams?
Genuine question, I wish to have more memorable dreams (even if they fade quickly)

I don't know about things to consume, but when you lie down to sleep first shout in your mind that you're a dream rememberer. Then imagine you're in an elevator going down to a dream floor, and count down from 100 to 0 as you fall asleep. If you don't fall asleep before 0, try again starting at a high number. It also helps to keep a notepad within reach and writing down what you remember from the dream as soon as you wake up. This helps you remember each dream better, which leads to more complex dreams.

valerian root and african dream root are the ones I've heard mentioned, never tried either though
if you want to remember dreams better try to make a conscious effort to attempt to process and recall them as soon as you awake from one. it can help to write down whatever details you're able to remember.

i can confirm that african dream root (silene capensis) is very effective at inducing cool dreams. calea zacatechichi, mugwort, egyptian blue lotus are a few others
there are also non-pharmaceutical methods for inducing lucid dreams or astral projection. listening to binaural beats/hemisync tones, learning to meditate (there's a certain way to do it) and so on

Important thing to remember if you're looking to be able to remember your dreams is that you're "supposed" to wake up from NREM stage 2, when the memory of the dreams are purged. What you want is a way to wake yourself at the end of a REM cycle, when the dream is still in short term memory, before it's had a chance to be purged. What you really don't want is to wake from NREM stage 3 (deep sleep), which will frick you up for the entire day and not help you remember anything, so just setting an alarm clock for a random time each day isn't a great idea. I know there's phone apps that will let you set an alarm and have it change the time by certain amout of minutes to line up with an NREM stage 2 cycle, maybe there's ones that also let you aim for a REM cycle.

Alternatively, if you really want to try some science shit, I've heard about people who intentionally wake from NREM stage 3 with an alarm, chug a cup of coffee or pop a caffeine pill, and then immediately go back to sleep before they've had a chance to wake up. The caffeine ideally kicks in 15-20 minutes later which hopefully lines up with a REM cycle, and kicks your brain into gear while you're still asleep. Supposedly this can result in lucid dreams, but the risk is that you don't make it back to sleep and you're fricked up all day by waking from deep sleep.

yes but 10mg is a huge dose. I would stick to 2-4mg or so.
I found a supplement that's a mix of 5HTP, L-theanine, and melatonin that worked great for me. that stuff was strong enough to make me sleep after quitting heavy cannabis use and only had like 3mg melatonin.

Be careful with the 5-HTP, you don't wanna take that too often. Do a little reading on it. Sucks because it absolutely is the most effective ingredient in that mix, but too much of a good thing can frick you over

yeah definitely not a good one to rely on for a long period of time. I started getting headaches after taking that mix for about a month, but luckily by then my sleep was mostly back to normal.

Yeah 5-HTP fricks up your heart. Tryptophan will work in the same way without fricking your heart up.

        >Yeah 5-HTP fricks up your heart
Sauce? Here's what webmd has to say, most other sources seem to be similar:
        >When taken by mouth: It is possibly safe to take 5-HTP in doses of up to 400 mg daily for up to one year. The most common side effects include heartburn, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, drowsiness, sexual problems, and muscle problems. Large doses of 5-HTP, such as 6-10 grams daily, are possibly unsafe. These doses have been linked to severe stomach problems and muscle spasms.
        >Some people who have taken 5-HTP have developed a serious health condition called eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome (EMS). Some people think EMS might be caused by an accidental contaminant in some 5-HTP products. But there's not enough scientific evidence to know if EMS is caused by 5-HTP, a contaminant, or some other factor. Until more is known, 5-HTP should be used cautiously.

Anywho, I don't think it's that big of a deal either way since the best way to use it is a smallish dose (100-200mg) once in the evening for a week or so to set a sleep schedule, and then just go to bed when you're tired naturally to maintain it.

Yes but its a fricking terrible hypnotic. The correct dose is 0.3mg, taken seven to eight hours before you wish to sleep. As a way to adjust your hormones its very effective. As a hypnotic to make you immediately tired its low quality. If you need to sleep as a one off just take a pill with Diphenhydramine in it.

As long as you don't use it often, it does the job in most cases. Though, you should determine for yourself how much sleep you actually need. I can function well with only a few hours per day.

Doxylamine is by far the most effective OTC sleep med. It actually works a little too well - you have a gnarly hangover from it when you first wake up. It's easy to sleep 12 hours on it because it keeps you asleep and makes it very easy to fall back asleep when you wake up.
If you don't like this, half a pill can still be effective and there's way less hangover effect.

Anything with passion flower like tea or in some Aswaganda gummies I find to be amazing for sleep and reduce stress with less side effects. Its basically herbal Xanax. I like the Yogi brand teas since it has extracts which disperse quicker into the tea than just herbal components that need a longer steep time. Also I use a sleep app on Andriod that basically tracks your sleep cycles and will try to wake you up at a better time in your sleep cycle so your not drowsy. It will sometimes wake you up 20-30 minuets earlier but you won't feel groggy and more awake. That and honestly sometimes planning a day to stay up late, skerio only a little, so you fall asleep earlier the next night is what it takes to reset your sleep.

Yes but only if used the correct way. Which is not taking it an hour before sleep. You should take it when your body should start producing melatonin which can be 4 hours before you actually go to sleep. A medical research is required where you chew on cottons and store these independently in a bag. 24 times in 24 hour which you send to the hospital. To get your melatonin curve. For me it was i should take melatonin at 20:00 when going to sleep at 00:00. That fixed it. So yes it works. But only if done properly.

What i find the most effective way tho is forcing yourself to sleep with a benzo and wake up way too early a few days. Then youre tired and will be able to sleep earlier

Addition: doxylamine works great if no access to benzos but that shit makes you terribly tired most of the day and made me hallucinate spiders several times

check your dosage, even if it's half a pill, dependence can start at about 5mg and above, if it's less you should probably talk to a doctor or something

i have some pretty harsh ones on prescription for insomnia, i limit myself on how often i take them, but if you havnt slept in 2 days and just lay there dead tired, with your eyes closed and still cant fall asleep, you gotta do something about it
if you know you know, but if you dont lseep for multiple days, you completely loose all ability to function as a normal person
