        my max was 308.5. first month a exercise I lost 35 lbs without any gimmicky bullshit. think it must've been a lot of water weight. got down to about 215 and plateaued out hard right at 2 years in. all I did was eat less junk and increase my activity. main exercise was every other day(weekends/major holidays off) just 30 mins of high intensity cardio with short rests where I would do some lifting, wearing as much clothing as I could. naps became a regular thing for the first time since kindergarten. drink lots of water and have a visual goal tracker as motivation(a little weed can help too).

          Most obese people are eating lots of junk food. Any diet that helps them stop eating junk food and lose weight is going to be better for them. Being obese seems to be one of the worst things for general health, and losing weight even through less than ideal methods will improve health. That one guy who lost weight mostly eating Twinkies had better blood work after losing weight that way.

          Plus a lot of these people will start eating a more balanced diet once they get down to a regular weight. Every overweight person I know who lost a lot of weight through keto eventually started eating fruit, whole grains, etc. and not blaming carbs for everything but realizing it's processed junk food that is the issue.

            that is because he understood the truth about CICO. a lot of ham planets like OP think that carbs are their worst enemy and just change their 4000 calories from one macro to another, then they wonder why they are stuck and go back to eating junk food

                This is my experience of carnivore so far. I’m shooting for 200g of protein a day an it’s hard to eat that much, but my calories are way down

                Basically eggs. Lots of eggs. Cooked in butter. Real butter not that fake shit. Kerrygold is good.

                Water weight is probably only 15lbs

            oh additionally the meal I posted in OP is less than 500 calories. I had two meals Saturday, of which that was one. My other meal was closer to 800, so for Saturday I was running a 2000 calorie deficit. It’s amazing how fricking stupid the would be contrarian buttholes.

            Another low carb fact I have personally experienced is body composition changes with weight stability. Eat enough protein and you end up with increased conversion to lean mass. This is all without significant exercise beyond walking. Result is waist measurements will shrink while the weight stays the same.

            Obviously the “secret” to weight loss is reducing energy intake below energy expenditure but it never occurred to the know-it-alls to ask what factors might drive excess hunger impulse or to consider whether certain diets are better with regards to this factor.

            Personally, I view carnivore as an easy way to ensure I’m doing zero carbs, as sometimes vegetable consumption can push people out of ketosis, and then you end up on the blood sugar rollercoaster which drives inappropriate hunger impulses.

              For someone taking a meme diet you seem to know plenty about dieting. CICO is the essential point and just suffer through hunger attacks.

              A thing which might help, try to find out if you have specific food cravings. sometimes I crave specific food and will try to satiate my hunger with those (be it protein, fats, salty food, deenz, or vegetables)

          Not eating is actually bad because then your body thinks it's starving and goes into survival mode, holding on to the fat, making it harder to lose the fat. Make sure you're eating, but avoid the carbs and sugar as much as you can.

    eat the correct amount of a balanced diet everyday instead of relying on gimmick diets and putting your body into ketosis where it will cannibalize important nutrients that it needs from your body instead of from food, resulting in a long term net negative to your health. the problem is that you're a fat pig, not that you're eating bread

    Buy a bottle of stool softeners, take a couple of magnesium citrate capsules before bedtime. Salads don't have to be carb heavy, and 2 Good Yogurts are great for a quick breakfast.

      Yes they are. Plants are not good for humans. Sorry, that's just the facts. Our digestive system / intestines aren't meant to digest and absorb nutrients from plants. Go compare our digestive system to a rabbit, an herbivore, and tell me we should still be eating plants (we shouldn't). Humans are carnivores.
