Doordash made me broke

All I do is buy expensive takeout for dinner, and I cant afford my car insurance now. What are three (tasty) meals I could prepare for the weekend, so I can save some money?

    It's not magic, you just learn how to make sauces, cook meat, cut up your veg and substitute for what you've got. Once you know what you're doing it's not baking cakes, as in you don't have to measure precisely, with cooking you taste it to see if it's good.

    chigen terimaki white ppl version
    2 or 3 chigen thighs
    1 part soy sauce
    1 part water
    1 part brown sugar
    combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, some salt and pepper in container
    use half of it to marinate chicken thighs for at least 30 minutes up to overnight, set the rest aside
    take a little bit of oil, put it on a pan on medium-high heat
    put them chicken thighs in once the oil is heated. about 4 minutes per side.
    after you flip the chicken, wait about 2 minutes and then add the rest of the marinade to the pan. continue cooking while the marinade reduces and spoon some of that shit onto the chicken. terizaki means shiny so you know you're getting there when you have a nice shiny coat of food on the thing.s
    once you're chickens done take out of pan and rest a second afore you cut it. serve over rice, maybe some vegtables if you feel like it.

    I ended up homeless three times because I kept ordering food on doordash instead of paying my rent. I ended up becoming a member of Doordashers Anonymous when my family and friends held an intervention for me.
    I was so ashamed at first, but once they taught me the twelve steps, I started moving towards a future free of addiction. I've been clean for 13 months now. It's just so hard since it is so easy to download the app and place an order...

      I know. I'm naturally socially awkward and dont like driving, but once I was recommended doordash, I could get all the takeout I wanted ordered and delivered to me in a timely manner. I dont even have to meet the driver and give him a tip. It's like it was designed to sucker people like me in

    literally just put garlic, ginger, onion, soy sauce, chili, sometimes sugar, sometimes vinegar and sesame oil on anything at all (doesn't matter what) and it will taste good

    Wash + cut + oil + salt + pepper + veggie. Add garlic or cheese or lemon or other variety once you master the basic
    Optional cut + season/rub/marinate/Hispanice + meat. Use premade flavor mixes if you're a noob, mix Hispanices if you're a pro. Toss any sauce or marinade with your meat overnight in the fridge in a baggie if you want to go that way.
    Change your veggie or meat or Hispanices and you have infinite variability.
    Example meal: Chicken + asparagus + potatoes
    Wash + cut + veggie
    Preheat + skillet + oil + meat + veggie
    3 or 4 eggs + bowl + whisk that shit and break those yolks
    Egg soup + skillet + cheese + cooked meat and veggies
    Add your cooked meat and veggies before the egg is fully cooked. Use cheese as a glue to cement your insides + top flap when you flip that flap.
    Cost effective and highly variable and good macros
    Example meal: Italian sausage + onion + cremini mushrooms omelette
    Pasta + boiling water + pinch of salt + drop of oil
    Preheat + skillet + oil + meat + veggies
    Cook that shit then add your sauce of choice
    Cover your cooked pasta in the fillings and sauce
    Cost effective and you can make a giant batch and then eat leftovers to save cooking time
    Example meal: Penne pasta with vodka sauce + chicken + yellow bell pepper + onion

    If you're a carless wonder get your groceries delivered as it will be much cheaper than doordash everyday. If you're car enabled place an order then pick it up from the store (free) which will save you time from shopping and allow you to plan your weeks meals in advance. Stop being an impulsive retard and learn the single most basic survival skill of being able to feed yourself. Adults that can't cook 3 simple meals are an embarrassment to themselves.
