The Empire State Building announces a Rainforest Café on the 86th Floor

I thought they went bust or administrators had to restructure Rainforest and close down some of their restaurants or some shit? This was a while back too. How can they afford the lease?

          Spooky themed attractions are kino.

Oh man, my mom took me and my brother to one of these against our wishes. We ordered the chips as an app since we couldn't find anything else that remotely looked good. When she went to the bathroom they delivered them and I convinced my little brother to tell her how good they were when she got back. She fricking gagged when she tasted that crap and asked if we were ready to leave haha

Most people say the food is awful. How is it possible to screw up such basic stuff? You take the tendies out of the sysco bag and you heat them up.

Yes. It’s always been my dream since the 1990s to go to the Rainforest Cafe but I grew up poor and now I’m still poor and can’t travel out of state to go to one. I watch youtube videos of people at the Rainforest Cafe while I eat dinner with my cat and dream that one day I will be able to go there myself. Probably never going to happen though 🙁

RFC is designed to separate tourons from their money. It's not great by any means, but the food is decent and the atmosphere appeals to kids who drag their parents in.

          Exactly.

I know in my heart of hearts I would never be disappointed by the Rainforest Cafe. It has been my dream for 30 years.

Maybe if you believe it is it will be. Go all out get the steak.

I think the air conditioning situation is partly to keep the electronics for the animatronics and other effects cooled, but also I think they must have some hardcore air purifiers because otherwise all the fake foliage hanging from the ceiling would get extremely dusty (there's no way to effectively clean something like that on a regular basis)
