      Unironically, over half of the calories I eat is from chips because they're my one vice in an otherwise good diet. I get ridiculous hunger pangs and cravings whenever I stop eating them.

        sounds moronic but just switch to baked chips. not only do that have like half the calories but they taste worse so you'll eat fewer of them. the ultimate goal is to just not have chips in the household since most dopamine seeking behavior is based on availability but it's a huge step in the right direction

      I don't know what size bag you eat but here a medium one is listed with 1100 calories and to be fair salted potato chips are the best kind of thing to eat because other stuff is far more calorie heavy.

      You ARE supposed to feel full, but you should have a normal enough diet schedule that what you regularly eat should make you feel full. If you don't feel full during a regular dinner then you have either a dietary problem or an actual disease.
