Feeling good? It's skyline time

Any tristate locals here? Big fan of Skyline, but my best buddy is more of a Goldstar guy. We have arguments all the time about the quality of the chili. I just find that the tang of Skyline is so much more satisfying, and Skyline has the cutest 16 year old employees working there. Anyway, we were hoping you could break the tie. Also, what are your thoughts on goetta, the best breakfast protein?

      OP here. Since vomit is often very acidic, and you are saying it's better than Skyline, I'll count that as a vote for Skyline over Goldstar since my reasoning was similar. Thank you for your participation

    But we mostly do Skyline because it's closer. Hadn't had Gold Star in several years until a month or so ago, and I don't remember it being so greasy? Tasted okay, but damn.

        I'm assuming you're a northern KY anon. I'm on the opposite side of 275 from you. We go to the Blue Ash Chili in Tri County, haven't been to the original. Next time I head south to see the old family I'm so and try Dixie.

      Culver's lacks regional novelty because of the wide area it covers. Also who cares what a bunch of latinxs make? Cincinnati chili is a kind of its own, meant to be used as a topping.

      Meant to reply earlier. I'd say just go get some from Skyline or get it canned from the store. You can try to make it, but it won't be close enough. I made a batch from a Cincinnati Enquirer recipe, and it was good, but it wasn't as tangy and delicious as Skyline

        I make it all the time. I prefer it to the stuff from the restaraunt as I can adjust my own thickness and grease levels. The trick is to get a really fine grind on your beef.

      I definitely won't turn down Goldstar as it's still a great choice, but if it's between the two, I have to go Skyline. Plus Skyline just seems nicer and whiter
