Thank you based stonerbro
yeah it was fine, tastes pretty similar to any other salsa verde. makes sense it wouldn't be kept around long term because the only people who would be interested in it on tacos are non-Hispanics with eclectic taste.
It’s always the opposite for me >what sauce do you want? >”give me as much Diablo as you can please” >only gives me 6 packs >”uhh can I have more” >hands me 5 more packs while glaring at me
I want at least 30 packs of the sauce when I go to the bell
Fire, Hot, and Diablo all have the same scoville rating.
Hot = traditional cayenne and vinegar based hot sauce. Has a hint of garlic. It's similar to Texas Pete.
Fire = Tomato added. Thicker consistency. Like a Hispanicy ketchup.
Diablo = Made from smoke dried jalapenos. The smokiness does come through. My personal favorite.
Mild = Taco seasoning mixed with vegetable oil and tomato puree. It's its own thing and is actually quite good on a variety of foods. If you ignore it because of a lack of heat you're missing out.
Switch hot and mild, mild too runny, Diablo just tastes weird it's not even hotter than fire.
Diablo has a weird artificial lime taste.

extremely accurate list, OP. fire and mild are where it's at. hot tastes awful and diablo is just stupid chipotle shit
2:1 ratio of fire:diablo
mild and hot are of no concern
everyone here ripping on diablo is a picky baby, it's fine
They used to have a green one, what was it called? I never tried it
verde probably
Yeah that was it. Anyone ever try it? Looked gross. It came out around the same time as Diablo, glad they kept that one at least

Verde, they still have it but you have to ask for it over the counter. There is also a breakfast salsa packet.
>”Would you like any sauce?”
>”Just a few packets of fire sauce, thanks.”
>jams a fistful of packets into my bag
Why do they do this?

Fire also has black pepper and it sucks
But they do not have Fire Roasted Salsa at any locations anymore afaik.
