I usually find Rheinhessen and Mosel varieties, but there's nothing too crazy in America. I'd really like to try a Riesling Eiswein someday, or a prädikatswein Riesling.
I think a good auslese is one of the most approachable kinds of wine. A nicely chilled bottle with some nice cheese and fruit is a true delight on a hot summer day.
Sadly they are pretty expensive. Jj prum is one of my favorite producers.
If you can afford it go for an eiswein from these guys. The two bottles in pic were some of the best wines I've ever had. Sweet or not.
If you keep an eye out for them on wine auctions riesling usually goes for cheaper than usual. I think I got those 2 bottles for like 300 bucks. They were worth the price. Absurdly delicious and powerful wines.
You can also look for TBA wines. Eiswein is sort of similar to it, but more expensive to produce. Top producers will handpick grapes at night when it's freezing outside.
why are you in every second wine thread trying to show off while autistically shilling expensive sweet riesling on a board that can barely afford applebees
no, no one is going to buy jj prum ausleses in an attempt to make themselves enjoy wine
if you had any brain you'd be recommending something like entry level wines by loosen or something
I drink a lot of riesling and I have no idea wtf you mean by this

I know this will sound crazy, but get a 5ish year old bottle of jj prum mosel auslese. It should be around 7.5%. If you like fruit juice, peaches, melon, honeysuckle you will enjoy it.
I used to drink only white wine but one time I drank a French blend red and it just completely changed my tastebuds and now I prefer red.
Try something bubbly, like a champagne or prosecco. If bubbles aren't your thing, you can try a sweet Moscato or if you want something more like an alcohol, try a port. Wine can be very versatile.
Depends where you live, but Markus Molitor is probably the single best riesling value you can get for the money. I believe his entry level wines come out around 20 bucks. His high-end wines are also spectacular.
Fully agree. Are there any other types of Reisling? The only variation I see in my area is those stupid rose blends.

>$700 for a 750ml bottle
Yeah, I'm not going to spend 1% of my yearly salary on a bottle of wine.

Do you know of any affordable eiswein options? I'd like to develop a taste for it before buying an expensive bottle.
Canadian eiswein is an affordable start.

Saved me a rant
when it comes to cheap wine you can't really beat the sweet Maybach Riesling for 2.99€ on sale
for me it's the feeling of my hard cock going down the tight throats of little twinks who drink riesling while they choke on my cum
This is what real men are drinking. I don't want to hear any of that riesling nonsense anymore
Cheap scotch? I drink expensive scotch and enjoy riesling and other wines. Time and place, dingus.
I can probably pin you to the ground with my little finger
Heh, even so, I bed your mother thrice weekly. Sometimes she asks me to shit on her chest. When I do your father cleans it all up.
Laphroaig hasn't been cheap for over a decade
And to think all those digits got wasted on a vegan poster
it's an extremely smug grape
>look everyone, i even pair with asian food
>riesling
Only if its labeled dry riesling. Cab sauvs or red blends. White wise brut, pino grigio or the mentioned above.
I've never had Riesling
It's nice. It's sweet and crisp.
If you like Reisling, try gewurztraminer if you haven't already. It's a bit sweeter but it has that nice crispness to it.
I keep trying to enjoy wine but I just do not at all.

Should be like 40 or 50 bucks.

You sound like a 18 year old freshman girl. Fuck off with ur moscato. Btw, try Lambursco and it will blow off ur Bachlor Degree tits.
For me, it's the unflappable Primitivo
What is the best German reisling under 20 dollars?

A lot of great german wine is expensive because it grows on steep ass hills, so it has to be mostly handpicked.
I always thought I hated wine till I tried a good Riesling
