    Hey moron

The best time to wash your pan is as it's cooling down but before it cools completely. At that point a towel or soft sponge will do. Plate your food, then clean up your fricking workspace before stuffing your FAT FRICKING FACE you absolute manchild. Repeat this in your head ; "strike while the iron is hot"

      Only morons live this way.
      >cook dinner
      >I will wait to eat this for 15 minutes while I clean and do the dishes

Fricking loser mentality, you probably scarf down cattle feed with every meal too because a "nutritionist" said so.

You don't want your meal to get cold but you also don't have to do a complete cleaning of the kitchen either. There are some tasks that are good to take care of immediately while the rest can wait until after your meal or later.

Properly cleaning things will take longer than you should wait to eat. Just wash up after dinner like a sane person, you’re both fricking morons.

You have a pea sized brain. If it's something quick like eggs the pan will clean up in a minute or two. Anything else is likely a longer more complicated cooking process that gives you tons of time in between to clean up.

          >takes 15 minutes to wash dishes
Are you using every signle dish in your home? It should take precisely the amount of time to wash your dishes as it takes for your food to cool to an edible temperature. Don't lash out because you're dirty and no one agrees with you

Sorry, I forget this board is just full of people who are akin to a wife who runs a blog about her cooking. Everything is air fryer and instapot so you don't have much cleaning to do at all. I never meant to insult you guys, it's just that real cooking doesn't take 1 pan - that's just the same as microwave 'cooking' at that point. Rather than being insulted, you should see this as a sign you should learn to actually cook real meals.

idk if it's autism but i need to eat my food as soon as it's cooked, fully hot, if there is no steam coming out of it i don't want it. sometimes i just eat stuff still on the stove. i might keep burning my lips and having to blow on every spoon or fork of food but if you wait for it to cool down than after like few bites it's just lukewarm and gross and by the end it's basically cold

Absolutely moronic take, you clean up after you eat the food so you can wash all the dishes at once instead of leaving the ones you plated your food on for later

I usually clean up as I go. Rarely do I have much left to wash after a meal aside from plates and cutlery.

This. By the time food is ready I'm usually down to 1 pot, pan and tray.
Rinse them hot after you plate and most shit just falls off. Takes less than 2 minutes.
Then each person rinses their dish after they eat. I don't understand why this 10 second task is so hard for so many people. Get everything unstuck so you don't have to scrub it into a nasty sponge days later.
Throw the plates into the dishwasher after you eat, or not.. Who cares at this point, they are basically free of food residue and won't rot in your sink. If your dishwasher is full/ clean you can just load them later with no extra effort.
The pots/ pans left should only take another 3 minutes or so, since you already unstuck everything as you plated. always do them after as to not soak them and ruin them.
I don't understand people that let dishes pile up, take over their counter and rot their kitchen with smell and flies. Fricking subhumans.

I can understand not washing the pan and wiping down the stove and counters immediately after cooking because you want to eat your shit while it's still hot but there's little excuse to not do the washing up after a meal. That's degenerate behaviour. My six year old washes his own dishes after dinner, ffs

Do your nonstick pans come out of the dishwasher and make everything taste bad after? Mine does. We wash the nonsticks by hand.

        Anonymous

I don't have that problem but the dishwasher does destroy the coating in non-stick pans. From here you have 2 options, either you wash them by hand or you just accept it and buy a new non-stick pan every 1-2 years (that's what I do)

          Anonymous

Idk wtf is wrong with our pans and dishwasher, then. I hate doing them by hand but we don't really use nonstick much anyway so it's not that often that either of us have to.

            Anonymous

Maybe this won't happen if you put them on another rack? The top rack usually has lower temperatures than the bottom one. You can also try a non-stick pan with a different type of coating, there are many materials available.
