Its literally the definition of barely good enough. Just pick a dish you know you like when done well and it will be blandly inoffensive.

only in america would the idea of comparing a restaurant to a factory elicit anything but suspicion
i say this as an otherwise proud american
people here allow the idea of "value" to rule their lives and it disgusts me

What about sushi conveyor belt restaurants? They’re liddurally sushi factories.

The Cheesecake Factory is less like a factory than a sushi conveyor belt restaurant despite having the word factory in its name.

                ok
i daresay if a revolving sushi bar billed itself as a factory it would be a hit in the land of the free

There is actually a chain of sushi restaurants in the US called Sushi Factory. They’re not conveyor belt restaurants thoughbeit

Why do you have a factory that makes old spaghetti? Is aged spaghetti better than fresh somehow?

        Anonymous

i think old is meant to describe the building, not the spaghetti
same ridiculous idea of getting a good deal though

I went to this in America, the only thing that's good there is the fricking cheesecake everything else is shit poison food that America likes to eat because they're a bunch of fat fricks.

This. I'll eat nearly anywhere else over cheesecake factory but for some reason my extended family loves it. It's supremely inoffensive. You're better off actually experimenting with local restaurants and finding the diamonds in the rough.

The cheesecake is good, but the portions on EVERYTHING are massive (cheesecake included, I eat one slice over the course of 3-4 days) and the quality of their main dishes mediocre. I guess their "tex mex eggrolls" are pretty good. I got a giftcard there and just used it over a few months buying cheesecake only.

Who says? it's never been "bad" whatsoever. Order your mood, and realize the menu is quite extensive. If you are poor and/or you can't decide, get the Renee's Special.
I eat there a couple times a year. They mix their drinks, yay. The early bird appetizer sized salads are great, especially the beet-goat cheese, or the santa fe with peanut dressing. It's always been the Thai lettuce wraps app with the 3 sauces, as my main, or the Renees special if I adore the soup of the day that week. Their best cheesecakes are the godiva anniversary and the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake-pecan pie combo.

Everything is salty, just accept that going in and you'll be fine, I'd go full slop and get the mac and cheese balls for appetizer, finish it off with a big sloppy carbonara and spend the next day on the toilet

It's a tier above the Applebees and Dennys of the world. Big menu so everyone can get something they like, it's a good spot for large groups. Chicken parm sandwich is my go-to

I live in a state that doesn't have any dram shop laws, unless someone isn't being obnoxious or isn't obviously very intoxicated at the bar I'll keep serving.

Have you ever poured an angel shot?

No but I have had to get people 86'd for being creepy or just generally bothering people

It's trash. Everything is bland or absolutely loaded with salt, the menu is 300 pages. I'd genuinely rather go to subway since that's at least over quick

Louisiana Chicken Pasta is good as is the Shrimp Scampi, and Jambalaya Pasta, and the Miso Salmon. So are the cheeseburger egg rolls. Get the Reese’s or Dulce de Leche Cheesecake.

    It’s all decent.

It's just a sysco operation, expect something "frozen dinner" tier because that is what it is. If in doubt ask the waiter what's popular and get that, because it will probably have been in the freezer the shortest amount of time. Something breaded and fried is likely safe, chicken parm etc.
