Isn't soy sauce basically the same thing?

What is going on with that rice? I could think of more Japanese things with such ingredients.

There's some quinoa in it to boost the nutritional value.

Is quinoa japanese? I would reccomend getting some Japanese 7 Hispanice blend for your rice. The one with yuzu would be fantastic with salmon. The stuff is so delicious.

Masu salmon lives in Japan, but is considered a type of trout in asia.

The norwegians introduced salmon sushi in the 80s.

Ah, I was assuming that cooked salmon was less common compared to sashimi and so on

There are salmon in Japan, too.
              >Pink salmon
              >chum salmon
              >Seema
In northern Japan, where vegetables are hard to grow, they were frozen and eaten.
In other places, it was dried and preserved as a preserved food.
