Has anyone here been to the best pizza in the world?

Has anyone here been to the best pizza in the world? It's New Haven pies with Creole toppings like andouille and crawdads if you're curious. I've been saying this place is the best pizza in the world for over 20 years and a really disappointing amount of people still have no idea.

It's absolutely delicious and wonderful and perfect. I'm so so so glad to live near a Two Boots.

Also, their garlic knot sliders are excellent.

      You're a fricking idiot. Die.

lol. we have one of these in my neighborhood and nobody goes there except clueless tourists or people that are just hungry and don't care. it's average to below-average pizza and I'm sure the only reason they're still open is the location, they're right on 7th ave.

Joe's and Bleecker Street Pizza are also in the area and a thousand times better

Joes is floppy sloppy trash and Bleeker is nothing special. If you were going to name another place in the area, name John's.

The best places are local joints in Manhattan, usually lower east side. If it's some chain place then it's guaranteed to suck shit and made for tourists.

yup, although even some of the local places are trying to do multiple locations.

              Joe’s is still legit
              Bleecker Street Pizza
Patsy’s (the one in East Harlem)
Scarr’s but you have to get them on a good day
              Pop’s on 57th
              Funzi’s
L’industrie opened a location in the WV, good stuff
              NY Pizza Suprema by Penn

Lombardi’s is touristy yes but still excellent

Have you even gone in there and tried the Grandma Bess? I'm not a tourist and it's the best pizza ever, I've tried them all a million times and I'm just telling you the truth. It sounds like you're turning up your nose because of the style being inauthentic to the region and not really judging it fairly on taste.

I’ve tried a few of their slices. Don’t remember if that was one of them. But they didn’t impress me and the plain cheese slice — my barometer for whether a pizzeria is worth my time — was underwhelming. I turn my nose up at them simply because I have better places nearby

Going by that picture, they might actually have something. Can't tell from the pic how far up the scale towards GOAT it is, but it's not pathetically dull like most US pizza (and most pizza in the rest of the world too, Toby Faire).

I threw up Two Boots everything pizza while on a college tour in binghamton the next day after staying at my friends place and playing Risk for 4 hours. I've had their pizza since then and it's just okay, as someone else said, they really overdo the cornmeal on the crust and I don't care for that. RIP Luigi's on 8th avenue between 55th and 56th next to the wendy's (it's now some bullshit gyro place or another fricking smoke shop idk). They had the best chicken salads.

I have probably the most educated opinion on NY pizza having lived here for such a long time

    My favorite places:

Gotham Pizza on 76th and York
    10th Avenue Pizza
    Percy's Pizza
    Best Pizza on Havemeyer
    Carmine's on Graham
    Saba's on UWS
