Yes, it's very nice. My favourite sweetener for coffee so far is raw (unrefined) cane sugar. Give it a try. Also try adding a small pinch of salt to bring out some flavours in the coffee that would otherwise go unnoticed.

i tried it with dark and light brown sugar, molasses and agave nectar 🙂
i've been putting brown sugar in my portafilter when i make caps and they've been quite good, just adds a nice subtle complementary sweetness
