Hi Culinaly, I am a fried chicken addict. Recently I bought an air fryer so I can make it at home easily. I never really eat frozen food, so I'm not sure what the best brand is. I bought Tyson this week and I like it ok, but I feel like there could be better. So my question is, what is the best frozen fried chicken brand to put into the air fryer?

Anyway, anything but Tyson. Tyson chicken is disgusting, what do they even do the chicken to make it taste so bad.

My uncle used to farm chickens and sell to tyson and there were more than a few with extra legs or heads and they didnt care at all. That's probably true of all big chicken processors tho.

Tyson chicken has yeast extract as a flavoring. It makes it taste weird to me too. It's probably okay if you dip it in a lot of sweet sauce but otherwise the flavor is too strong.

Only one that I find that is decent is bare chicken. It's pricey but it's good if you can afford it.

Here's a tip for you, anon: if you want your chicken to get crispy in the air fryer, either drizzle it with some cooking oil or spray it with cooking oil spray. Oil conducts heat well so the chicken will get crispy. Just use a little bit though, not very much or it'll get soggy.
double fry your frozen chicken wings. then stop because it's only useful if you have trash meat. Go to a farmers market and get some real pasture raised cutlets, hammer them thin and saute with herb garlic butter sauce with veggies

So long as you are air frying them and not baking them, they are pretty good. On par with fast food at least. Baking them renders them pretty soggy shit though.
Tyson is literally building bug farms, if you object to the great reset you are obliged to boycott them. but yeah like that other anon said, go somewhere expensive so you can be sure you get high quality
