A thin slice, spread and mashed into some lightly-toasted crusty brown bread, is a delectable taste treat that will tickle your tastebuds, especially when paired with a fine crisp cold pale ale.

I'm actually eating some right now, usually remove the rind and mold it into a ball I nibble on throughout the night.

It's actually very versatile. Try eating it spread on really dark rye bread. Goes really well with sweet things like pear, dried fruit. Good with walnuts, almonds, pistachios. You can use it as a seasoning for broccoli, pasta or pumpkin soup. I like to drop a piece into the yolk of a soft boiled egg, mix then spread this on thinly sliced soldiers. Has a funky savoury quality like miso.
