Uh there isn't much you can do for colon disease other than diet. It's not a doctor thing.

A doctor will prescribe you meds for treating the worse symptoms but IBS is a long term affliction and there is no "cure" except a better diet and lifestyle. Most doctors know shit about cooking and will refer you to nutritionists who ARE overpaid quacks no matter your country.

    >poorfag
Eat meat(mostly beef) eggs, fish, diary(like buttermilk) and fruit.
No seed oil, no grains, no nuts, no vegetables
    >richfag
All the above, but only eat organic

    >protip
Reduce microplast consumption, example use wood, stone or metal cutting boards instead of plastic

Fruits and diary are super irritants. Beef is also the worst kind of meat for IBS, chicken or pork are better.

      >eggs
this irritates my stomach and i don't have IBS
i keep my life simple and stomach happy by living mainly on milk, yoghurt, dried plums and the occasional binge of cured meats and hummus
      >vegetables
most "vegetables" are fruits. additionally, leafy vegetables are no issue

this is the stupidest fucking thing i've ever read there's no way you believe this. red meat is shit for digestion and only really good for iron. there's nothing wrong with "seed oils", grains are great for digestion, nuts are great for digestion, vegetables are great all around and should be the main part of your diet.

if you ask any doctor what to eat for IBS it would probably be the opposite of what you said.

    >How do you eat my IBS bros?
I have pretty severe Crohns disease. I had a lot of inflammation and IBS causing discomfort in my abdomen often so bad I couldn't even sleep. Got a lot better when I figured what foods made it worse and with medication.
Basically I stay away from fibrous vegetables unless they are very well cooked and soft, no seeds or nuts, no super Hispanicy hot foods, try to stay low sugar and definitely stay away from all alcohol.
Things with anti-inflammatory properties like green tea and turmeric are great for me.
    >What is your go-to meal when you have intestinal pain ?
Usually if I have intestinal pain its because I ate something I shouldn't have and its fucking my insides up so I dont eat more.

Yeah Crohns is very similar to standard IBS (but much worse) so I'll trust you on that one. How do get fiber though ? You listed what you don't eat but not what you actually eat.

Start with a raw vegan diet; that should clear it up. Then start adding things one-by-one. When it comes back, note that item & avoid it in future.

i just suffer usually. I avoid Hispanicy foods though because that makes me feel like im dying when it hits my guts. If i feel really bad ill eat tuna salad or other basic fibrous and filling foods. I got the shit too much IBS so it may be different than you. I take probiotics and corn husk fiber pills which helps a ton

I have IBS and if I am completely fucked I will eat oatmeal with almond milk. There are some good overnight oat recipes as well. Just don't overdo the sugar.

Second option would be a smoothie with 1/2-1Tbsp of both chia and flax seeds but you need to look up the fruits/vegetables to make sure they are okay.

Both options have a shitload of fiber which will help a lot. Tofu and rice are also mostly safe but you will run into issues seasoning things since a huge amount of sauces/Hispanices/condiments will fuck you up.

you should be eating manuka honey and drinking kefir
you should also cut out gluten and probably nightshades from your diet. Even if you're not allergic, they cause tons of chronic inflammation that can aggravate intenstinal pain

Yeah nightshade are a known trigger for Ibs, same goes for modern wheat.
If you are craving bread make it yourself with an old type of wheat like spelt.

We're gonna need a little more info here, anon.
    What is your usual diet?
Do you eat a lot of processed foods?
Do you drink diet drinks or energy drinks?
    DO YOU READ LABELS?
There are a few things that cause this Syndrome, and they all, of course, relate to your gut flora, and chems you intake on a regular basis.
The glyphosate that soaks most every wheat and soy crop is one. It and the combination of it and the other components of glyphosate is proven to kill off your gut flora.
Seed oils cause inflammation, and can actually destroy your villi, and exacerbate the issue, and finally, Sucralose, which is being put in more and more things weekly for God knows what reason, (I know, but this isn't the place,) has been proven by several studies now to not only be genotoxic, but actually cleave the cells in your intestines.
You might do well to eat a very simple organic diet for a few days, like rice and other foods that are low impact and you've tolerated well in the past, then start to introduce both probiotics and fermented foods like sauerkraut, yogurt, kefir, kimchee, etc.
The important thing is to eat CLEAN foods and don't eat seed oils, standard bread,(it's the glyphosate and often now added sucralose,)
Natural fats are great--eggs fried in butter, to start.
Some other anons have posted good info as well. No particular meme food is a panacea--It's the food supply that's been compromised. Whatever you eat, following the sage words of another anon would benefit everyone:
    1) If you couldn't eat it in 1850, you shouldn't eat it today, and 2) If you need a label to tell you it's food, it ISN'T.
You are going to have to be vigilant about reading labels and knowing the tricks companies use to hide shit,(smartlabel, changing formulas monthly now,) and start cooking your own food.
I'd be wary of "DIETS" too, anon. there's nothing wrong with some diets for some people, that would be an absolute detriment to others. CLEAN FOOD.CLEAN WATER.

It is hard to tell how severe was it in medical terms but I have been diagnosed with it 4 years ago, had stomach painy every other day, visits in toilet often amounted to 30 minutes sweat and pain sitting. Fast forward and I would say I rarely have any symptoms save the occasional diarrhea when I overindulge on parties.
    Changes in my daily laife:
Regular training/movement (advised by doc, have sitting job)
Cut out sugary drinks, drink mainly water/tea and, sometimes kefir and joghurt and rarely zero drinks
Cut on deep fried things nearly to 0 (rarely eat fries)
Eat far more vegetables than before
My main method of cooking is baking shit in the oven, I eat fried things like twice a week
I do not eat anything heavy for like 4 hours before going to sleep
My overindulgence once a week at some parties with alkohol and kebabs doesn't hurt me in big way, just have to go for 2 shits next day but I have no pain or anything
