    1) eat coffee beans, or grounds...it's your choice
    2) drink very salty water and/or vitamin c powder
    3) get a big mug, place it on the floor
    4) pull down your pants and squat over the mug
    5) enjoy your coffee

Substitute the salt or ascorbic acid for plasticizers, and you have just described mornings from 180M Keurigs' POV.

For me, it's 6Tblspns of Aldi Gerrman brick coffee,(medium roast,) in a Bodum pour-over,(water from an American electric kettle,) 2 tsp. Zulka sugar, and a nice glug or 2 or organic half and half.

Cameron's light roast, OR, African singe-origin light roasts. yirgacheffe, Kenya keruga, peaberry, etc if we want to spend a little extra, for luxury, on occasion.

    >boil water in pot
    >throw coffee into pot
    >boil for 5 to 10 minutes
    >pour coffee into cup
    >drink coffee
The grounds settle to the bottom on the pot so there is no need to filter it.

I wish the ecelebs told me about immersion coffee earlier. it just works
I bought an expensive gooseneck kettle but you have to pour it perfectly and have the right grind size or it's shitty

      skill issue

when james hoffman compared immersion to pour over across grind sizes, he rated the best of each as about the same, but pour over got really shitty when it was too fine

so you have to use all this "skill" for no benefit and only downside really

reminds me of the cast iron meme. another forced cooking meme I fell for

literally just trial and error to find the right grind size, and once you do just don't frick with it
only an issue if you're using a blade grinder

should I get aeropress instead so it's not gritty?

and what is to stop me from brewing in a regular cup and then emptying it into v60 filter I already have to drain

          >should I get aeropress instead so it's not gritty?
Myself I bought an Espro French press with its two stage filters, it gets a lot keep more of the grit out. I can't comment on Aeropress.
          >and what is to stop me from brewing in a regular cup and then emptying it into v60 filter I already have to drain
Nothing, you just lose out on the coffee oils that get caught in the filter. However, I use paper filters for easier cleanup of the grounds, add water to the left over grounds and pour into a filter in a funnel or something

I put the grounds in the filter
The water in the hopper thingy
    Press start

For me, it's aeropress, because I got addicted to microplastics from sous vide and now need another meme device to boost my blood polymer levels in the morning.
    >"b-but it's BPA Free!"
    >xe doesn't know about BPS and BPF (unironically)
Don't worry, Reddit, just because one specific variant of endocrine disruptor got bad press, the Chinese aren't going to leave you hangin'. There are plenty of alternative plastics to help Biden get reelected and sustain the global markets for video games and woke Netflix series.

I go to the coffee shop and ask the cute girl who looks like a brunette Amy Adam's for a small black coffee and she hands it to me.
