I bought four bags of Sunchips a little over a month ago and we're close to finishing the first bag. I guess it takes my family of three about five to six weeks.
Missus was pissed I bought them until she tried one (we opened the cheddar bag). She doesn't like American junk food but these are an exception. On the other hand, I love American salty junk food. They wouldn't be fat if that shit wasn't usually delicious. American sweets can go suck a shit tho

Nobody that's actually married and getting laid feels a need to point that out on the internet. You literally live with mom and have never touched an actual woman.

why did you bought 4 bags of sunchips when it take you a month to finish it?

Shelf life of a bag of crisp is like 2 months

I wouldn't have, but the sale price was four bags for $6 with a stipulation that you must buy four IE $1.50 each. Otherwise, they'd've been double the price. I hadn't really thought it out at the time.
Besides the cheddar, another bag was opened and finished off at a block party two weeks ago (French onion; tasted like ass) so that was nice.
We've got two left, black bean and jalapeño and vegetable or salsa or whatever the red bag is these days.
And now that I think of it, I figure that if this old neighbour lady winds up at our Thanksgiving like she did last year, we could set out a bag or two. She'd likely eat them. Last year, I bought a case of soda that was on sale for TG (24 pack for $5) and she must have had a quarter of it to herself during the meal. We didn't finish off the rest ourselves until May or June.
If her daughter isn't awful and she doesn't come round to TG again, we can always give her a bag, anyway. She's a sweetheart.

I hadn't had SunChips in over a decade before I bought these bags and I remember red being garden vegetable rather than salsa. GV was my fav back then so iinm and they were indeed GV and they've changed to salsa now, idk if they'll be good or not. Either way, they were $1.50, so it's not like it'd be some huge loss or anything. I'm excited to try the black bean ones so if we give any away, the red ones would probably be it.

Yeah, I saw that was a sale this week at my local ShopRite. Woulda gone for it were it not for the SunChips at home.
Stocked up on red bell peppers instead, 77¢/lb. Gonna make roasted bell pepper jam over the weekend.

My SR used to have a dollar produce section. All managers special stuff and all surprisingly good. For example, I once got 3lbs of eggplant for a dollar and none of it was soft or otherwise incredible, just perfectly fine eggplant.
But they stopped a while ago and idky.
Still, prices on other shit's still pretty low.

Once opened, the bag is finished within half an hour. I can't have any delicious chips in my home or I fall victim to temptation. The most I do nowadays is walk past the chips aisle in the store and reminisce on better days.

This and usually when I am finished eating I find that it wasn't that good either. I don't keep these products around the house, anything I buy has to be eaten the same evening or the next day. Nothing lasts longer than 4 days max.

I'm on a diet so sometimes I even clip a snack size bag of chips and have it another day. I just want the taste sometimes not even a whole serving. I'm doing really well on my diet too. My parents love to bulk buy chips so when I visit I'll grab like 6-10 snack size bags and they last me a couple weeks (company eats them too)

not watching the superior spin off, Frasier instead

      >cheers
I just introduced my ho to Frasier because it didn't air in her country at all and she's Black anyway so she likely wouldn't have been exposed to it, regardless.
She quite liked it and we would up spending a couple hours each night, after we put our kid to bed, watching a few episodes. She was annoyed with the "ending" since it didn't really seem like one at all and we disagree on the reboot (I say that while it's not as good as the OG, it's still decent enough; she says it's garbage and she hates it).

probably 1 hour and half of that is waiting for dip to set

Okay, settle an "argument" I jokingly had with a friend of mine from, like, a month ago: one of us uses various dips with various flavours of chips. The other says that plain chips, preferably ridged or kettle cooked, are the only option for dipping. The plain chipper was called Nazi and the other, who dipped sour cream and onion Ruffles into Velveeta queso thus starting the discussion, was called an amoral degenerate why deserves the rope.
      Who's right?

The former, with the exception of never mixing same dip flavor with same chip flavor. The other guy sounds like a hipster homosexual.
