Can Inget some advice on pickling eggs? My soy sauce and beet brines always turn out well. I even did a redwine onion brine that was good, but I get seems to get good color/flavor penetration with hot sauces.
nothing actually penetrates deeper than a millimeter other than salt, unless there is a channel to the yolk which will make it slush after a couple of weeks
