Its perfectly fine. When I go to a retaraunt I usually ask for a salad. it saves me money and leaves more room for drinks which is usually why we are out in the first place.

My dinner usually consists of a vegetarian meal. Eating something lighter helps me sleep better. If I eat something heavier I won't be hungry when I wake up and it's time for breakfast. Thank you for reading my post.

Same. Will never understand how Angelo cultures can eat such heavy dinners and still get to sleep.

We do in our house, but not, like, on purpose. Sometimes we just happen to eat meals without any meat. Vegetable stir-fries (which we do mainly to clean out the vegetable drawer in the fridge), pasta with just olive oil or tomato sauce, that kind of thing. Generally we try to eat a balanced diet of lean meats and healthy vegetables but sometimes we let the meat slide.

I’ve been vegan since February 2000. Before that I was lacto ovo vegetarian starting in July 1995. It’s been pretty nice.

Vegetarian daily since I don't eat meat at breakfast and one of the other two meals is always vegetarian if not vegan. Talking of which, I have a vegan meal every other day. Had tofu with zucchini in tomato sauce for dinner yesterday. Vegan meal. Having Italian sub for lunch today. Not even vegetarian never mind vegan.
Tomorrow, will have palak tofu with rice and roti for dinner. Also mustard oil pickles. If she uses that VioLife shit instead of butter, it'll be vegan, otherwise, it's just vegetarian.

My SO is vegetarian so we only cook vegetarian, vegan sometimes by chance. However, my lifestyle doesn't allow me less than 80/110g of complete proteins a day (for proper recovery) and that's an insane amount of grain/soja proteins. I couldn't go vegan and often supplement with meat/offal.

      >SO
lol ur either a woman or not straight
Had a dyke friend who used to say "my partner" or "SO" because she didn't want people to know her species (lickalatypus).

Once you reach a certain age, "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" start sounding really silly. With millennials getting married at a lower rate and aging up into the 40s now, expect to see terms like "SO" and "partner" more often, not less.

I know. I was funnin'. I call my own notwife my notwife. Or missus. Or babymomma.

          Wrong
I'm a Culinaly ESL who thought it was irrelevant to brag about having a gf. Ever had one?

          >Ever had one?
If we count just hook ups and one nighters, far to many to count but I've got a woman who shares my home and bed and meals and helps raise the kid I managed to pop into her. Also
          >Culinaly
I miss being fit. Something happens in your later thirties. I was up to a 34 waist (don't remember euro size) last time I bought jeans. This is at 6'1 and newly 205lbs (1m85/93ish kg). The jeans do feel looser now, though, so either I've worn them in or I've lost weight since. I still feel fat in any case.

i eat vegan meals every day since i get sick when i eat more than a little bit of meat. dairy and eggs don't work either. seafood is mostly okay, but i don't care for cooked fish so i eat raw or cold smoked fish a few times a month. Culinaly seems to think of plant-based diets as the antichrist, but my opinion is that most of the people here don't actually know how to cook. seasonings, spices, herbs, and flavoring oils can make any vegetable taste good

What are your go to dishes?

        Anonymous

my regular dish is to saute some vegetables (i usually have broccoli, carrots, peppers, and mushrooms). start out with minced garlic and ginger, and then put a soy sauce-based sauce at the end. usually the sauce has vinegar and some sweetener in it. i can then eat it alone, or i can mix something like rice or pasta in if i want more calories. i like to play with my seasonings to keep it different each time, but black pepper and cayenne pepper is never a bad choice

As often as I care to. Turns out the refried beans I buy are vegetarian so technically my burritos are also vegetarian. I don't really see the need for meat in EVERY meal, you know?

This reminds me of the stories of monks in the middle ages and how they declared any animal that has anything to do with water as a fish so they could eat them during lent. Like beaver or puffins.
      Shrimps arent vegetarian.

Tomorrow I'm making butternut squash soup with chopped sweet potatoes.
