The only reason that NYC pizza doesn't have meat toppings is israeli autism about eating meat and dairy.
Every other popular type of American pizza and most types of popular Italian pizzas add some meat to the list of toppings. It wasn't an artistic choice, it was done to cut corners and make overly devout Ashkenazi happy.

    >OP is a slav
You know that feel, but they always get to mask their contempt by feeling "sorry" for you being from a poorgay country. They can't do it to us, because we're not even poor. We were the first to industrialise, but everyone still thinks we eat peasant gruel.

I will stuff organs and blood into pastry and other organs until the day I die, and I'll never be ashamed of it. I will fry my bread in butter, spread more butter on it, put butter-fried meats on top of that and still be stronger and fitter than the average vegan Whole Foods consoomer. Maybe they'll live a few years longer because they have 0.0001% less saturated fat in their arteries, but I don't care. 1 year of my life is worth 10 years of theirs.

They come in several sizes. The very smallest are just amusements for the mouth made by chefs who fancy themselves, but the smallest common ones are individual pies that are just a nice amount to have.

True! I'm Italian and while we make an enormous number of syrups, we rarely add them to carbonated water. We drink them as squash. But I like the fizziness and idgaf where it came from.
How's this for weird: we have a type of iced coffee, shakerato, that we think originated in America despite being Italian through and through. Most of you have no idea wtf it is. We likely think it's American due to the bizarre spelling (to our orthography, anyway)
