How would I go about making my own energy drinks?

How would I go about making my own energy drinks? I used to be a monser freak and drank ultra white relentlessly until I got serotonin syndrome and cold turkey'd as I recovered. But recently I have started doing night time shifts and developed a routine of going to the gym everyday for intensive workouts. Food is good, but I operate on anywhere between 4-6 hour sleep schedule and have bouts of drearyness. So unfortunately I am back on the can. Anyone know any good recipes to make such a concoction that wont give me cancer aids? Also inb4:

      If I could I would, but my melatonin levels are naturally fucked and medication can only do so much to allow me to sleep more before having a substantial effect on my quality of life

      Caffeinated water exists. So does caffeine powder. You could use one of those soda makers to make what you want out of caffeinated water.

      Heard soda makers can be a bit shit but I will give them another look

        I have actually switched from coffee/NRG drinks to just taking like 2 100mg caffeine pills a day. I did some research prior to making this switch, and the safe ceiling of caffeine is ~400mg/day, so even 3 pills/day would be reasonable. It actually works, and doesn't have the acid of NRG drinks or the cholesterol from coffee. If you take a tolerance break on the weekends, come Monday you still get to feel a little wired.

    I buy the powdered energy packets at Walmart, add two to a 24 oz glass of club soda/seltzer and add ice. 240 mg caffeine, tastes decent, and cheaper than cans

    You want a syrup, oil, or powder as the base. You can make powder from anything dehydrated and crushed. An oil is harder to get. Syrup and oil have calories but they work easily. Anyway, pick your flavors, add powdered caffeine and whatever else you wanna use, and then add either carbonated water or use one of those sodastream machines (the co2 is expensive though)

    I know this gets thrown around flippantly and I literally have never said this to anyone, but you should have a nice day. My cousin died by suicide too, so I don't take this lightly
