      That's a taco.
It's also an abomination, but it's not a burrito at all.

Gabacho hands made that graphic. Who in the frick puts rice in a burrito?
      >meat, salsa, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato
Fricking lettuce in a taco? Only considered a snack? Not to mention the "burrito" seen there is a wrap and not a true burrito.

      Make a taco.
      Wrap it in a tortilla.
      Deep fry it

Consider the noble chimichanga. Just a burrito that's deep fried. Can be made miniature with tacos wrapped in a larger tortilla.

There is no need, a burrito is just a taco with a closed top.

It's more of a diaper than a closed top

American style crunchy tacos are basically open eggrolls so I'd make a giant corn tortilla, fill it with American style taco fixings, roll it up like a burrito and fry it like an eggroll

Both are meant to be healthier versions of american sandwiches by reducing carbs which we now know humans aren't supposed to eat a lot of else they become diabetic and/or obese. Burritos unless filled with lots of pork/beef actually end up being just as bad as a sandwich because they're like 50% filled with rice, you know fricking carbs.

80% of your diet should be nothing but steak, eggs, and bacon because they contain things your body actually needs for optimal heatlh. You should only be eating tacos if you're poor because distributing a nice juicy steak on a dozen tacos packed with lettuce/cheese/sour cream is obviously more economical. Chicken for when times get really tough.

The Japanese navy literally proved that eating nothing but carbs is LETHAL. In fact they're not even neccesarry for human life. I'm not saying DON'T eat any because that's expensive as frick and really only necessary if you want to lose weight fast.

BUT AFAIK I can't find any scientific evidence where getting more than 20% of your calories from carbs/sugar (same thing really) is healthy for you.

Protein is necessary for brain/organ function. If you're not getting it from your diet where do you think your body is getting it from now?

Fry small taco rolled like a burrito, then when hard lay flat on soft tortilla. Add a sauce as a binder then roll like a burrito.

Burritos just focus on lesser ingredients that aren't fresh and usually sitting in a bin all day. Beans, cold rice, sauteed meat etc.
Tacos can actually use fresh ingredients because they can't hide it. I'd rather have better food than more
