I don't get the appeal of Chipotle at all
>Comically overpriced
>White rice is usually overcooked
>Brown rice is always undercooked
>They never, ever give you enough meat.
>Their steaks are chewy and tiny
>Their chips are the saltest thing you'll ever eat.

I don't get it.

It's just easy to get and fast.
It's not even that good, plus it's overpriced as frick.
You can slow cook 3 or 4 pounds of whatever meat you want and make like 20 meals worth for the price of 2 bowls there.

You chose not to make a homemade burrito thread. Instead, you made another fast food thread. You choose to be part of the problem.

9 dollars for a chicken bowl, cheaper and healthier than mcdonalds.

mexican food for normies. they just stuff the Burritos with cheap rice and beans and charge a premium. this place sucks and I have been saying it for almost 20 years even when it was way better back then.

honestly this is what I'm expecting
way too much rice to make it look like a lot but the meat, cheese and sauces will be scarce
but every restaurant is guilty of this these days

It's pretty cheap. Probably cheaper than buying multiple Culinaly passes.

guacamole is easy, baby. mash up an avocado, add 2/3rds as much of your favorite salsa, a bit of garlic and onion powder, pepper, and salt to taste. mix and enjoy.

Chipotle popularized the concept of quick services and was revolutionary in its time. Prior to Chipotle, most restaurants were either fast food (burgers, nuggets, fries and soda) or sit down. Chipotle is much higher quality than fast food, and cheaper and faster than sit down. Quick service also works well for the takeout lunch crowd. The success of Chipotle inspired other quick service restaurants like 5 guys, Noodles and Panera.

Chipotle basically copied Subway but replaced the ingredients with Mexican slop

      Hardly revolutionary

the only bad thing about chipotle is the price. the quality and flavor is pretty great for fast food, and although it's not a common place for me to eat as i can make equivalent food at home for much cheaper, it's always a go-to on a road trip or when out-and-about where i know my options for fast and decent food are highly limited.

Chipotle (and all its knock-offs) and panera have transformed the fast food industry from cheap, unhealthy, tasty garbage into expensive, unhealthy, mediocre, pretentious garbage. Frick every one of those restaurants and everyone who eats there

Almost every chain is location-dependent on quality in my experience. Before I lived in le heckin' big city Chipotle had a pretty high bar. Even shit like Domino's was good.
Now that I live near a lot more... diversity... it's always shitty, cold, and twice as expensive as back home

    >bowl please

    >”little more”
    >now at a normal serving of vegetables for an adult human
    >”steak please”
    >scoops on the smallest spoon of steak imaginable
    >the blender brain worker decides even that’s too much and goes back to take a couple pieces of meat off
    >Ok extra steak please
    >repeat
    >” that’ll be $20”

Are they deducting pay from these motherfrickers by the ounce of meat over a limit or are Chipotle workers just fricking pieces of shit

    Pancheros > QDoba > Chipotle

That said, it's hilarious when people put Taco Bell and In n Out in S tier and then put Chipotle in B tier because the meat wasn't hot one time
I would rather eat Chipotle every day for a year than touch some garbage like Burger King

Also, Mexican food in Omaha sucks. I've tried everywhere, it all tastes the same. Good food but boring. And it's never made with an ounce of love. It's like mexican food is cooked with disdain. Here's your plate of slop you American pig
