So do I. I was thinking about getting one of the finest Chinesium pasta roller/cutter attachments for it to fool around with homemade fresh noodles. If you have one, do you rike it?

my dad has one for the pasta making and also some little wooden racks he sets up. its not very often but he will make flat noodles for soups around the holidays and they do taste good and all but it takes a lot of effort by the looks of it
hes also got one to grind cheap cuts of beef he finds on sale to turn into ground beef (which I have to admit tastes more flavorful than the typical grocery store 80/20, just had a burger with him last week).

Ive only got the basic mixing thing to make pizza dough no attachments

I have been on the fence about purchasing a kitchen aid stand mixer. Is there a particular model that any anons would recommend?

Pro lines have metal gears but I think they have disconinued them but the answer really depends on your use case

artisan is the one recommended for the money

Don’t, they are crap these days. The motor just isn’t as well built. Which is arguably the most important part.. Look up American test kitchens review of stand mixers. Get the one they recommend

I think I found what you were talking about in the Cooks Illustrated 2023 Annual. They recommend the Ankarstum Original 6230.
The best midpriced mixer is the Kitchenaid Classic Series 4.5 qt.
The best small mixer is the Kitchenaid Artisan Mini 3.5 qt.

i bought the professional 600 like three years ago and its one of the best things ive ever bought for my kitchen. i wouldnt get the artisan because the bowl is only 5 quarts, and the artisan is the one with the plastic worm gear people keep crying about

I may try that, after some research of course.

Paywalled content, thanks Chris Kimball, but I suppose you got to make a buck with how many kids he has.

That is correct. I wish I could find out what the model is that appeared in the AvE video.

I thought Kenwood is more popular in Europe

I've been using a Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer to mix up a one-pound loaf of bread every week for like eight years or something now. 10/10 would get given as a gift again

bought my mom a kitchen aid artisan
i dont know if i need to adjust it because sometimes it leaves a bit of unmixed sugar and margerine or whatever in the bottom middle and a little in the sides of the bowl

I bought one with the meat grinder attachment. It should be fine to grind up chicken bones right, especially if I chop them rather finely first?
