That's a fairly small amount of groceries for an average-sized person, I'd say?

The reason why groceries cost so much and "last" so short is there's israelites that control the federal reserve and they artificially increase the rate of inflation because it's funny to them

      i mean considering that the
      >garlic
      >tomatoes
      >avos
      >peppers
      >meat
      >eggs
are all ~$6~10 each i'd say he did alright.

In what alternate fricking dimension lmao?
Garlic is a buck for three heads at my local Safeway and Safeway is expensive af. Tomatoes are a buck a pound, avocados are $3.50 for a bag of 7, japaleenies are five for a dollar and eggs are $1.49/dz.
I don't know how much a single bell pepper costs. A buck, I'd guess.
That's $9 and since the price of the chorizo is clearly labeled, that's under $15. Chicken thighs are 89¢/lb for me so under $5 for that pack.
Where do you live where you're paying over double what I am on groceries? Or are you moronic and purposely paying more than you need to or something?

This would cost double that if you lived in a real state and not Texas.

Would've cost me about $35 or so, and that's buying the name brand McCormick mayo because I can't get any other Mexican style mayonnaise in my area anymore.
How much was the H•E•B one?

Try and get your hands on some freshly rendered manteca from a mexican grocer or butcher. It’ll be way more flavorful that way

I did this and it messed up a batch of flour tortillas. I noticed the freshly rendered lard was way runnier too. I'm not saying the freshly rendered stuff is any worse though, just that it changed the outcome. I also use it to season my cast iron so I'm not too worried about the flavor there.
