      >The glycemic load of a 12oz glass of oat milk is 18.4. That's nearly the same blood sugar impact as a 12oz Coke (20.8 on the glycemic index).
Depends on the type of oat milk, some have added sugars or have enzymes used to convert some starch to sugar. But either way it's going to affect your blood sugar more than cow milk.

If you can't handle a glass of coke you have bigger issues than the milk you are drinking

there are some that are made with just oats and water, I would stick to those. Stuff like Oatly is packed with Sneed oils

i would love to see those because all the ones i've seen have tons of additives to make them palatable.

I'm not lactose intolerant, but I once tried some plant-based milks out of curiosity. Although I haven't had oatmilk, I might like it since I remember liking soi milk for its creamyness.

Oat milk is perfect in coffee. Gives it a thicker creamier texture without taking over the flavor. It's the only milk alternative I'll order once in a while

First almond milk was really bad now this, when will it end?

I don't get oat milk. I used to really like rice milk and almond milk, but when oat milk started becoming a thing I tried it and didn't see how anyone would prefer it. I guess the problem might be that I don't look at it as a milk alternative (I'm not vegan or lactose intolerant), but just as another product with its own flavor. I'm old enough that you had to go to a health food store to find Rice Dream and Tiger's Milk.

What's bad about oat porridge? We eat oats and milk for breakfast and supper here on the countryside. Nothing wrong with that, gets you through a tough day of work.

I recently hauled spoiled oatmilk/slop they wash their tanks of from Oatly in NJ for a few local farmers. I don't think I can ever bring myself to even look at Oatly after that.
