I am trying to figure out how to improve my diet and one thing I have noticed is that my breakfast is complete dog shit. I wake up in the morning and don't eat breakfast until I get to work maybe 2 hours later. I basically have to eat in the morning otherwise I won't make it to lunch time at 12pm. Lately I have been eating graham crackers for breakfast which is fucking stupid or I can eat the breakfast at work but its kind of slop tier from the cafeteria. What do you normally eat for breakfast? Ideally I would want to eat something filling and healthy but I don't know if such a thing exists that I can eat at 4am and not be hungry again until 12pm.
I did at one point try like overnight oats but oatmeal actually makes me basically shit my pants if I eat too much of it. I ate WAY too much oatmeal once(I actually like it a lot) and I had never felt such gastric distress before. It was awful. I just don't know what to do. I can't even do something like fast for breakfast and not eat anything. I don't ever do fasting because I hate it. What would you do?
wtf Americans can't even feed themselves lol
eat some rice
you can make rice pudding if you want something a little more seasoned
rice, bit of sugar and cinnamon and youre set
cook it in milk if you want it to be more rich
What kind of rice and what about the protein?
NTA but Clint Eastwood is in his 90's and he swears by salmon and brown rice for breakfast
have a big drink of water and eat an apple.
How long do you stay full for?
this guy beat me to it. eat an apple and a bowl of cereal with a decent amount of fiber in it (I like frosted mini wheats). You will be full until lunch, and you will poop like a champ.
If you're the type to snack a lot, or you get short breaks at work, I also like to bring in something simple like nature valley granola bars.
shut up fat nagger
You could prepare some boiled eggs the day before and have an apple like the other anon mentioned?
It takes less than ten minutes to make an omelette with 3 eggs and some veggies.
Green Smoothies. Purchase greens from the store, or at a farmer's market. Use frozen fruits to add texture and lower temperatures. Milk, nut milks, and seeds will add protein. Bananas or avocado add creaminess. Make sure to add some liquid (juice or water) to it so it can blend properly.
make a breakfast casserole reheat a slice in the morning.
I just eat a jimmy deans sausage biscuit and some instant oatmeal.
i eat raw oats with dried fruit and nuts in milk
i think raw is more filling because you have to digest the fiber that way
it keeps me full for like 4 hours, 4-12 is kind of a big ask, you'd probably need a huge feast that would upset your stomach at first
I might go back to eating raw oats

instead of aiming for something to keep you full for 8 hours, why not 2 smaller snacks in the morning? easy and healthy: yogurt with fruit, boiled eggs, whole grain bread/toast, chia pudding, fibrous and less sugary cereal. you also don't have to just eat breakfast food. you could eat a cold cuts sandwich in the morning if that works for you
Can of monster ultra is my breakfast. Rather save the calories for a big dinner
Overnight oats
If you've got a decent blender, a smoothie with full fat yogurt, your choice of fresh/frozen fruit, and a big handful of leafy greens like kale is pretty healthy and filling if you get the proportions right. Can also add in shit like protein or fiber powder if you feel like you need em.
Been doing this for breakfast most days for a few months now, grabbed a Vitamix when they were like half off on Amazon recently and it's been a game changer for my morning workflow.
>wake up
>drink tons of water
>take a shot of whisky
>drink tea until it's time for dinner
simple as
You ask me?
A couple eggs with butter, over-easy
2 pieces of toast thrown into the toaster just before I crack the eggs, jam and butter
Coffee
That'll be enough to at least get you going. If you want to expedite further, you could use a nonstick pan and wipe it with a paper towel when you're done, then there's no cleanup besides the plate and wiping the spatula and knife
5 minutes, start the pan over heat, throw in butter when hot enough. Throw toast in toaster as it melts, crack eggs in pan after. Use this time to grab the jam if you didn't already and the butter which you should have out. Flip eggs at preferred doneness, turn off burner if over easy, retrieve toast and dress it, plate eggs.
This process shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and is easy af. This is an idea of how you actually work in a kitchen to the newbs out there
for breakfast around 10 am i eat a banana and a can of sardines with hot sauce and a cup of coffee followed by a glass of water. at midnight i eat a big american breakfast.
eat some eggs. if you need to stay full for 8 hours there's nothing better than raw protein
1 soft boiled egg
1 scramble egg
1 sunny side up
1 hard boiled egg
1 smoothe with 1 banana 2 frozen strawberry and 0,3L buttermilk
first thing first. stop breaking your fast before noon.
If you're not the type to make space in your schedule for breakfast, consider having some satiating snacks that will keep you going until lunch.
My choice is lightly salted almonds and a cheese stick. I've found that the fattiness from these two snacks will keep me going until lunch just fine.
Obviously don't overdo it or adjust to meet your caloric or dietary needs.

>I basically have to eat in the morning otherwise I won't make it to lunch time at 12pm
Your body adjusts to the eating schedule you force on it.
I eat a bowl of cereal with milk on weekdays. If I'm out of cereal then it's a couple slices of bread with peanut butter and a glass of milk. On weekends I eat bacon and eggs with toast. Breakfast is the least important meal of the day and it doesn't matter if you eat a "healthy" one. I only eat it because I'm hungry when I wake up and it isn't worth the minor inconvenience of feeling hungry to change up my meal schedule.
Lots of good fast options, if you have time/energy to prep in the evening, any kind of overnight oats or yoghurt/fruit/cereal/nut mix that you can mix together is a great option.
If you have 10 mins in the morning you can make any number of omelettes/boiled/fried eggs with a slice of ham and a piece of toast. Hell if you want to be extra efficient set the eggs boiling and go get dressed, they’ll be done by the time you’re done.
One more thing I haven’t seen mentioned: Spanish tortilla de patatas. Basically chop up a couple of potatoes, an onion and a red pepper, fry all that with some paprika, salt, pepper and add a bit of bacon if you want. Then over that add 6 eggs mixed together, cover and cook until the eggs are done, sprinkle some parsley on it if you want to be fancy. Make that on Sunday and cut it into 4 - that’s 4 breakfasts sorted for the week and have it with a bit of bread you’ll be full till lunch and then some, it’s what Spanish peasants used to take with them when they did field work, great option and basically has everything you need nutrition-wise. If you want some extra fiber throw in some chopped spinach into that initial fry-up.
Smoke a pack of ciggerettes and drink your own load for protein

Here's my breakfast and I love it, I eat these things in this exact order:
1) a fruit. Can be a banana, apple, kiwi, doesn't matter, the most important thing is that it builds volume so I don't stuff myself with the other foods;
2) integral cereal with whole milk, only one small 0,2l cup: I fill half the cup with milk, the other half with the cereal. Something along the lines of Kelloggs Special K, except I literally buy the knock off versions of it because Kelloggs overloaded with sugar what used to be a good product, its imitators are better than it, funnily enough;
3) a max of 5 cookies dipped in coffee and milk, the same milk which I used to eat my cereal in. The coffee cup is a small expresso cup: I fill it up with coffee and mix it with the milk
I feel great eating this stuff, I wake up in the morning genuinely looking forward to have breakfast. Breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day you can't fuck it up or it'll fuck up your day. Looking at OP pic I really hope you don't take servings of that size otherwise it's no wonder you feel like crap, that serving there is massive, I can't fathom anyone taking such a large load every morning. Try to divide your breakfast in smaller portions of a bit of everything: a fruit, some cereal, some milk, some coffee and lastly something sweet, in my case the aforementioned cookies
Wait a minute what the fuck you said 4AM to 12PM? Jesus what kind of job do you do to get up so early anon senpai
>and lastly something sweet
>besides the sweet fruit, milk, and cereal
Skyr, whey,fruit
Your welcome.
Real answer: Oats
My answer: I like yogurt + granola
Oats is definitely the healthiest option, also not cheap but you can add blue berries
Oatmeal is unironically one of the best things you can eat and tends to provide stable shits not the other way around. If you are sensitive to that try sourdough bread for carbs, eggs, sliced tomatoes, and avocado. You can replace the bread with more veg/fruit and try to increase the fat content of the meal. The key is to set your body up with good carbs for energy, good nutrients for vitality, and protein for being stronk. Getting good fibers with nutrients is far more difficult than finding protein sources. So stay fixated on this until you work out a healthy regiment you enjoy.
If you want some good fiber in your breakfast, savory oats with some eggs and a salad (kale, spinach, etc.) will do you good
Leftover dinner is always nice since you just have to re-heat it.
Plain yogurt. Add nuts (pecans, hazel, walnuts etc...avoid deez nuts though) fruit.
Crepes are fast and easy and can be filled with anything. I like to fill them with mashed banana and some pecans and eat with fresh sliced apple. If I have leftover stuff from dinner I'll use that to fill the crepes.
Saute chopped bell pepper, onion, chili pepper, garlic, and add to scrambled eggs garnished with fresh tomato.
Leftover rice is used to make fried rice. Just add an egg, some vegetables, garlic, chili, and or ginger, leftover chicken/pork/beef, season, and you're done.
Make a large batch of pancakes, or biscuits, or crouissants, toss them in the fridge or freezer, and eat for breakfast with fruit and or a protein.
Trail mix. Chopped coconut, raisins, peanuts, pecans, raw oats. Eat as is or add fruit.
Lots of options.
Just skip it and eat at lunch. After a few days, you won't even get hungry at breakfast time. The only reason you should eat breakfast is it you're about to do hard labor before lunch. If you're just gonna be sitting in a chair then you don't need it and won't miss it.
These "breakfasts" ...lots of cereal, grains, sugar, oatmeal, donuts, bagels, toast....all this is so you have energy for physical labor.
does anyone else struggle to eat anything in the morning? I start to feel sick towards the end of a small bowl of cereal
no, you're either a gay twink or not used to eating breakfast
There is space between massive powerlifter and twink, yknow
1 large spoon of plain yogurt and stir in my vitamins
>try rolled oats
>wtf this is awful
>try steel cut oats
>holy shit this is amazing
Now if I could just figure out a way to make the oatmeal not stick to the inside of the bowl like its fucking industrial grade adhesive instantly
(checked)
Simple. Stir it while you're cooking it
I have a big bowl of cereal. Shits good and after your morning lift, because you should be lifting weights every other day, it's a good shot of carbs with some decent protein. Add in a couple soft boiled eggs and a banana and that's a solid bregfast m8
this isn't hard, OP. EGG. As many or as few as you like. Fried, scrambled, poached, hard boiled.... easy.
Steak and eggs. just pre make the steak, whatever cut it doesn’t matter. Or Stop eating dogshit like gram crackers that makes you more hungry so that you can then just skip it.
Also you’re post is of topic, go to Culinaly.
>no food posting on Culinaly
shut up fatass go back to your corporate fast food thread
bean, rice, meat burrito with a vegetable based salsa
Black coffee and a big glass of water
You don't need more
