cheese rarely adds anything to a burger. people just eat it cause of childhood nostalgia or something, like because they think they're supposed to

That's because people told you to use Kraft cheese product so it melts without breaking. It also has too mild a taste to complement the beef. A slice of sharp cheddar melts perfectly fine and tastes great with beef, and that's just the ground floor. Some blue cheeses can take a burger to the next level.

A local McDonald's had one, though blocked off from public use, up until that remodel a few years ago to make all McDo locations resemble office buildings. They even tore down a McDonald's near me that had a 1950s aesthetic to it, complete with their old mascot, that little fat faced chef guy holding the tray (long before Ronald).

Yeah, that's the guy! Holding a sign, not a tray, my mistake.
Last time I had McDonald's (other than a donut two years ago) was 2019 from the old style one we used to have near me. That area gentrified rapidly and a 222 unit luxury apartment complex was put there in its place. Another McDonald's on the same road but two miles north was torn down in 2022 and construction started there for another big-ass building, 178 units with a supermarket on the first two floors and parking garages for the next few floors above that before the apartments, similar to the building near me (first floor is a mall).
Not huge into McDo, but I still miss the way the area was before.

Its not even bad apparently, the warden himself eats it daily. Its only a punishment because its the only thing the inmates in solitary are allowed to eat.

He's trying to communicate that he's secretly a israelite, as he obeys the Mosaic law which according to St. Paul does not apply to converted Christians

This is such a zoomer take. I don't know what it is, but they all have autism or something. I used to work in restaurant and we had like 5 or 6 high school kids (this was after covid and it was hard to find help), and almost every one of them would always order a burger with nothing but bacon and cheese (to be fair, it was mostly the guys; zoomer girls seem okay).

The concept of manliness was monetized and claimed by consumerism after the idea of manliness became socially taboo. Zooms and younger are rejecting classical manhood while simultaneously looking for a rebellious outlet, and falling for the memes

American cheese, pickles, diced onion, mustard. Nothing else. This is the GOAT topping/condiment selection if you’re making a classic, griddled cheeseburger like you’d get at a diner or a roadside burger stand.

You say putting confinements on your cheeseburger makes it not a cheeseburger, yet in the same breath due as such with tomatoes and lettuce. Curious. Mayhaps a cheeseburger is simply any burger with cheese?

Having meat with bread at all is neoliberal homosexualry, having meat that’s seasoned at all is neoliberal homosexualry, eating processed meat you didn’t have a nice day is neoliberal homosexualry, this thread is just “Look how much less gay I look when sucking wiener than those homosexuals over there”
