All 4 of the different big chain supermarkets near me have basic peanut butter

Shit sucks man. That's my point. Get a stir free peanut butter from freshly ground peanuts. The only reason you have to stir it is because it's been sitting on the shelf long enough for the oil to fully separate. Don't believe me? Get some freshly ground peanut butter and wait. It will end in the same consistency.

The idea you could find PB without seed oil is braindwad, it's like trying to get milk from a bird. PB is intrinsically seed oil, it comes wholly from a seed in its purest form. You either accept that fact and stop eating it, or live on as willfull ignorants and hypocrits.

No beans then either, huh? Because legumes are seeds?

Do you scoop your peanut butter out with a spoon? Even after I vigorously stir, most jars I've bought do not cling to the knife I'm using and run off back into the jar. If you've always enjoyed semi liquid peanut butter I'm very sorry. Peanut butter should be relatively firm.

If I just posted a video of a guy using a drill to stir peanut butter, what makes you think this is some sort of internet joke? What state are you from? Where are you sourcing this magical peanut butter that's good after one stir? If you can stir a NATURAL peanut butter which ingredients are only peanuts (salt permitted) and have it be good until you finish it, you either must live really close to a peanut butter plant or are getting it somewhere you haven't made clear like a farmers market. If you've been talking about Jif or Skippy this entire time then yes I probably look like a massive moron

It's almost like the problem isn't seed oils but, like 99% of modern food problems, aggressive overprocessing. It's almost like the "muh seed oil" trend is perpetuated by morons like

So when I press the 'grind' button on the machine at Whole Foods, filled exclusively with peanuts, the resulting ground peanut butter contains seed oils - even though peanuts aren't a seed. Are you fricking moronic? Also, Adam's brand peanut butter is peanut butter just fine, one ingredient, peanuts.

So what is it, moron? You've replied to me three times now in both your posts, if this is the same anon (thanks, Hiro!). Peanuts are a legume which are a seed, yes. However, legumes aren't all the same, and blanketing any "seed" as a proprietor of "seed oil" is moronic. Seed oil is canola, soybean, and sunflower. Those are the big three to avoid because of their rich oil content and low nutrient count. Peanut butter has healthy fat, protein, and carbohydrates. Mainly fat, but it's a healthy fat, like mixed nuts. If you have been religiously avoiding anything "seed" because you saw sneed oils are the devil on Culinaly you're frickin insane

Just because you understand doesn't mean other people understand. Most people are moronic. I know I'm being a salty c**t but calling out stupidity is important. There are a lot of people who've gotten onto the seed oil shit who just think all seed-derived oils are bad, or god forbid the idea of all plant oils being bad and only meat oils being healthy. They're just following what is essentially a fad diet, but they're the majority and this kind of thinking spirals until truly stupid shit inevitably happens like political lawmakers trying to pass poorly thought-out oil bans/restrictions to garner votes.

still has to explain how peanut butter is a seed oil and how it's problematic
Also, I'm not aware of any efforts to ban any oil types. Most Americans are fine slurping down their Crisco.

I used to do this. Sometimes if I got sick of pure peanut butter I'd open some cans of sardines dump them in the peanut butter jar then stir them together making a pretty tasty and healthy meal. I'd store it in the fridge to prevent the sardines from rotting for a few days.
