What medium can I use to make this stuff at home?

Also my other question, are peanut and olive oils safe oils or sneed oils?

Just get one made with olive oil or avocado oil.
Peanut I’d skip. Use above two oils or butter.

Butter won't store very well and you'll have to use it within the day. The second you cool it, it's gonna break

I was unclear, each line was answering a different one of anon’s questions.
Butter mayonnaise is probably just eggs Benedict sauce right lol

The ratios are different but yeah it's essentially hollandaise

This isnt even true. In Spain they dont even refrigerate it along with eggs. It keeps fine on the counter

          >hellman's olive oil mayo
          >ingredients: olive oil, canola oil, soybean oil
I can find a few different brands of mayo in local stores made with avocado oil.

That poster thought someone was recommending they use butter instead of oil to make mayo.

Don't use olive oil. The flavor is too intense and it doesn't taste good in mayo.

I made the closest to best foods mayo I have ever made tonight
I was even thinking of making a thread about it
It has taken years of experimentation

Please do the needful anon. It kept me up last night thinking about how I wish I would be able to taste that brand mayo again without compromising my health.

Of course I've tried to make my own homemade mayo without the sneed oil a while back but ended up traumatizing myself because it tasted so bad. That oil I used costed a pretty penny too.

“de-slopping” your body won’t get you laid or make you successful. Oil, eggs, lemon juice, vinegar, blend everything with an immersion blender and slowly add the oil.

I just use hard boiled egg yolks, olive oil and white wine vinegar. Idk about peanut, but olive oil and butter are what I use, feel way better since then

I went and saw avocado oil at the store and it seems like a good deal, it's only 20 cents more than Evoo by volume
But then I looked on the back and it says may contain sesame, and I'm thinking well that defeats the whole purpose of me buying these expensive oils in the first place if you're just gonna sneak it in

So I bought this stuff, now what do I do?

ghee is a good idea. warm it so it's liquid, but not hot enough to immediately cook your egg yolks and make hollandaise.

      in your blender/processor:
egg yolks, salt, lemon juice, blend, stream in the liquid ghee slowly until it emulsifies.

Make your own ghee. It's moronicly simple and works out to like half the price or less of off-the-shelf stuff. I use a 2lb pack of Kerrygold unsalted I get at Costco which is like $15 iirc. Takes like 15-20 minutes max of simmering and stirring over medium heat in a saucepan until the milk solids separate to the bottom and brown a little, then just strain it through a few layers of cheesecloth into some widemouth jars.

Also, save the browned milk solids. You can add it to cookies and stuff to supercharge the flavor, but you may need to modify the recipe a bit. The browned bits are almost completely devoid of water so adding a little more moisture content to balance it out is a good idea if you add a lot so you don't have crunchy dry cookies.

They're not sneaking it in. It's just produced on equipment that also processes sesame. Sesame tastes good anyway, it's technically a seed and sesame oil is a seed oil but not like the highly processed stuff most people are thinking of.
