If you're in the US, Jack's frozen pizzas are like $3.60 each at the grocery store and they're good. Flat crust though

lel, would've done that if not for:

no go to the grocery store and see what the have marked down and get that and get a big sack of potatos and a bag of rice

      No.
      >bulk rice (5 or more lbs for super cheap)
      >beans and/or lentils
      >eggs
      >milk [if you're not a browncel]
      >look for deals on cheap meat, chicken breast/pork tender loin are generally the best because they have the most protein/$

what should i cook with them?

Yeah man, takeout pizza is definitely the cheapest and most filling option. Fucking lazy homosexual, learn to cook for yourself.

      where should i start?

i can relate to your position
        here is what you do
Cook rice in boiling water, google the exact method, throw in salt, pepper, maybe some chicken stock or something
Once it is cooked, put it to one side
Then, put the rest of your ingredients, eggs, beans, onion, cheap meat, etc into a pan with some oil and Hispanices of your choosing, fry that shit
Once that stuff is cooked, add the rice to the frying pan, without the excess water, and fry all together until you are satisfied

Variations on this basic method of fried rice will provide a reasonably cheap and robust base for many different meal types, for example your typical chinese style fried rice, jambalaya, or whatever kind of fucked up personal method and recipe you find best for yourself

god bless you anon, and i hope from this simple origin you gain confidence in cooking

        >what should i cook with them
lentils. cheap as fuck, full of good protein
cheap meat like pork and chicken
buy ground pork instead of ground beef its several dollars cheaper per pound and the taste difference is modest when you season it the same way you would season ground beef.
whey is a great source of protein, its cheap as fuck and its so good bodybuilders use it. you can use it just to maintain.
of course, rice is a staple but you can also buy really cheap bread at your supermarket's bakery. its better than loaves of sandwich bread too. you can get a big ass loaf of french bread at walmart for example for less than a dollar. buy several, and freeze the ones you aren't currently using. hopefully, you have a bread knife, but if not feel free to jsut bite and tear chunks off of it. legitimate way to enjoy bread.
don't forget the veg! never, ever. my go to is cabbage. cabbage is very cheap and tasty when you cook it. anything related to cabbage like brussels sprouts or kale or collard greens or broccoli rabe is good, too. I like to cook with all that stuff. It goes very well with pork. Fry up any of those vegetables with some potatoes and bacon or chunks of pork shoulder and you'll have a nice meal

Buy offal and cabbage. Make a stew. It'll last you a week for about $10-15. Throw in some rice and beans if you want.

This. I spam brown rice and whole wheat bread (made at home) on lentils and chicken hearts.

but without meat and with green cheap veggies (cont know if actually cheap in burgerland). this way you'll save enough to buy alcohol which is a common condiment of poverty and misery, but I hope it is not the case anon <3

10 lbs of chicken legs is $8. Microwavable steam in bag veggies are $1. Cream cheese is $1.50 per bar. Cook chicken, remove meat, mix in with cream cheese and veggies. Very filling, lots of calories, plenty of nutrients, and you get to eat every day, not just once.

damn i never realized chicken legs were so cheap wtf

        Anonymous

I've never seen chicken anywhere near .8$/lb. The cheap stuff is currently in the 3.50$/lb where I am. Pork is similar price to chicken usually, and those are your best bet, UNLESS you want to buy a whole turkey, in which case that wins easily. Currently about 1.20/lb if you get a fresh one, .70/lb frozen. Also disassembling a turkey so you can freeze it is really pretty easy, I did it for the first time yesterday, mangled the first leg a bit because I had trouble finding the first joint but the rest went smoothly. Even easier if you can commit to cooking and eating the dark meat immediately, because removing the breasts is about half the total meat, takes all of 30 seconds to do, and is braindead easy.

Chicken leg quarters were routinely $4.90 for a 10 lbs bag before the pandemic. Now they're $7.90. You get 50%-60% yield after stripping the meat from the bone, so equivalent to about $1.50/lbs of chicken meat. Very flavorful and plenty of fat in with the protein.

for $30 you could easily make a huge batch of bolognese sauce with at least 2 pounds of meat and eat that with pasta the whole week

      Anonymous

this is one of the things I do almost every week
      >bolognese sauce
      >some other kind of ragu
      >some kind of beef stew (chili con carne, peposo, etc.)
They get better after leaving them in the fridge too and as a bonus any excess fat comes to the top and solidifies

Bolognese is just perfect, it's cheap, easy, nutritious, and tasty.
If you've got 15 minutes to chop onions and an entire day to simmer a dutch oven while you're at work, ragu alla genovese is also amazing

        sauce
        >>some other kind of ragu
        >>some kind of beef stew (chili con carne, peposo, etc.)
literally me. the only difference is I want to get beef bourguignon right before I move on to other stews. coq au vin was much easier because chicken thighs are dirt cheap but for beef stews you still need decent meat which can get expensive

        >ragu alla genovese
I didn't understand why it's not much more popular before I made it myself for the first time. chopping so many onions is really no fun, to put it mildly. italian restaurants rarely offer ragu genevese too although it would be the perfect restaurant pasta because this is the one pasta that nobody wants to make at home

honestly in this case I think a mandolin is mandatory because no human can do uniform cuts with the same paper thin thickness like that, for the best flavor. the biggest hassle would be to get the retard to wear a safety glove every time even when you're not looking because nobody believes how sharp mandolins are until they end up in the hospital
