It's an ex-fishing community, Hull was once England's biggest port, unfortunately a lot of hardworking boys from this area went out to sea and never came back.

There is a chippy near me in the US that is owned by some Brits. They switched from cod to haddock a few years ago, I guess the switch is happening everywhere.
For me, it's alternating between vinegar and curry.

Looks like proper quality there. Fresh ingredients, cooked the right way in large enough quantities at the right temperatures.
It sounds simple, and it damn well should be simple, but so many places frick it up. That it's got a proper connection to the community too is just great, and isn't some fake chain place. World has too many of those, destroying local food everywhere.

That's 90% of all Euro threads that are on-topic. Is that really all you eat? I've lived in Europe and know that's not true, but...why? These threads are so uninteresting, but you people always love to talk about the exact same things.

it's the same for non-NEETs browsing Culinaly from america. shit food, fast food garbage sloppa, and if you complain about it people call you a commie foreigner and say you're "obsessed". important to remember what site you're on, if you had your life in order would you really spend this much time here? be honest

Americans talk about and post a thousand different things. What are you even talking about? Even the fast food threads have far more variety than
        >here is the same exact plate of fried shit with chips and mushy peas
        >here are 50 kebabs that all look identical
        >look at this full english which looks exactly the same as every other one
        >rate my sunday roast and yorkshire pudding that is identical to every other one in existence

Oh yeah, and then the most exciting thing is when you get a munchie box and it's the exact same doner and fried shit but it's like it's mind blowing to you that they put it together in one box.

This isn't an "all Asians look alike to non-Asians" thing. This is literally the exact same food being posted over and over again. If Americans had Big Mac threads and it was nothing but a series of pictures of Big Macs, and the discussion was nothing more than "I like to get mine with extra pickles and the sauce on the side", that would be moronic and incredibly boring. That's what these threads feel like.
