It's great because it's clean. It doesn't leave you with spent grounds, and it has a lower chance of splattering and staining during the brew process. It also allows you to easily add coffee flavor to anything.
its also full of dried ground insects. if youve never tried a french press with a burr grinder a realy recommend it, you can get a decent set for cheap and the quality of the coffee is way higher
never had pure instant coffee that was actually good
still drank it of course
now I drink this weird concoction that is mostly instant and like 10% finely ground coffee and it somehow works a lot better
The best most consistent coffee modern science can make.
>mogs every other instant coffee
Folgers tastes like dirty water. This stuff is so decent I'm fully converted. I used to buy $12/lb local coffee and imo there's only a sleight taste difference. I bought a bunch of these cans at $4/per.
Add another spoonful or two. Older generations that grew up during the great depression had to drink weak coffee because they simply couldn't afford to make it strong. It wasn't unusual for the depression era generation to reuse grounds several times before throwing them away. Having learned to prefer it that way they continued drinking weak coffee the rest of their life; their children (the actual baby boomers, not "boomers") also tended to drink weak coffee since that's how they learned to drink it. The directions on instant coffee - which date to that era - reflect that antiquated preference. Don't be afraid to add double or triple the amount of instant coffee suggested on the can.
This in a french press is probably the closest you can get to espresso without having an espresso machine, it's actually kinda crazy. Like this anon said

Bustello is nice and bitter and will keep you running all day on one cup and three hours of sleep, I had to stop drinking it for my heart
I brew one cup in the morning have like half of it, then the other half cold at lunch or something
My parents use Foldger's cause they're boomers, and there's just no comparing the two tbh.
Frappes the best thing to make with. Blend the scoops with a lil bit of water to get a foam, add some ice and pour in the rest of your stuff. Even the cheapest aldi brand is decent.

Fuck off Pedro
I am all for jamming a boot down the throat of artesian small local business co-op fetishists wherever possible but this is just not true.
>co-op fetishists
Red phantom scum, kys.
Would Jesus drink instant coffee
If it's fair trade.
He was probably more of a herbal tea kind of guy
No and that's why mormons don't either
>would a carpenter drink instant coffee
anon you asked a stupid question

My wallet is hit hard and im cutting some instant to add more to a brewed coffee
I think I will try buying that type next time and see how it tastes

Been so let down by real beans that I switched to this. Locally roasted coffee just isn't as good as it was 10 years ago. Something changed.
Instant coffee is good and based, just the perfect equilibrium of taste, cost and simplicity that makes other methods look retarded.
We've reached peak coffee. It's all downhill from here.
Why are you wanting science to make your coffee. Thats weird. I want less lab coats near my food. Fucking zyanfbmsboglutamte gum chewing homosexuals.
I want my ISO 9001 certified coffee to be exactly the same in every batch. Less fedoras and more lab coats.
If the water's too hot it'll taste shitty

Ice, milk, instant coffee, sugar, blend. A based dessert drink in seconds
