dipping every slice of your pizza in sauce is either a result of shockingly bad pizza or abject obesity

Nah, dipping ranch is for the crust - fricking tasty as all get out. OP's image is for true fat frick degenerates though, drowning the za in ranch is a landwhale habit.

wife and I refer to it as white trash sauce.

we make ours from scratch. we collect the milk, culture the sour cream, and the buttermilk, assault the herb side of our spice rack, and BOOM: White Trash Sauce.

use some sourdough discard, make a crust, sauce that shit with home grown, canned, seasoned tomatoes, a little sheep milk mozzarella, bit 'o' ground oryx and a jalapeño from the garden....

Vegetarian pizza with ranch dressing for sauce so it’s like a pizza salad. Especially if it has artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

You dont have raleqtambrobrét in your country? It's a cheese-like fishy fungi but goes well on toast and pizza

Bro you've never had slice of buttermilk pie? You're in for a treat, they're dead-easy to make, so are chess pies (a relative to buttermilk pie)

              Anonymous

I can see that desperation pies originated in the Great Depression. I contend that people back then could have made better do with other foodstuffs, other than forcing to eat dessert, of all things. When you’re desperate, dessert is the first thing you cut out of your diet.

I'm willing to try buttermilk pie out, I've never seen or heard of it before in the USA. Is that some kind of British or Australian thing?

                how does vinegar pie sound?

                It's good, try it
It's not depression-era food it's English and came to the US with the Scots and was a staple dessert in the colonies including New England as chess pie, it wasn't until later that it would be simplified into the buttermilk pie
